The mussels dish is unexpectedly big - over 30 of them. The sauce is quite fishy in taste which sometimes overshadows the sweet taste of the mussels, slightly better with lemon juice. The sand haven’t been cleared from the mussels though so after the bites I need to spit the sand out. The mushroom risotto is well with a good texture and the sauce is just savory and creamy enough. Maybe better to share the risotto though as towards the end the taste became too heavy with the thick risotto sauce.
Happened into this restaurant to grab dinner after a tour of Buckingham Palace and wanted to avoid the rain. Immediately seated, even with the place full to bursting. Service was excellent and food was quick and delicious. Thanks for a wonderful evening!Food: 5/5
Nice ambience. We didn't have a booking but they managed to give us a table. Veal cotlet was nice, I would have preferred abit more salt in the veal. Risotto was nice, also needed some salt and lemon. Some of the mussels had crunchy bits in it which is basically because it wasn't cleaned properly. Overall, nice experience and good food. Calamari was nice. Chicken ceaser salad was good but the portion is too little for the price paid, comparing to prices of other dishes that has more ingredients in it than just lettuce and chicken.
Food is very good. It’s quite like original Italian. The clam spaghetti is really tasty too. It’s just a bit pricey and very busy. But considering Buckingham Palace is just next door, you might not find better restaurants around here.Food: 5/5
I’d like to call it a humble pasta—tomato and basil. It was absolutely delicious! The simplicity of the dish, combined with the flavorful herbs, truly elevated the experience and delighted my taste buds.Food: 5/5
Today, we had the chance to try the Pizza of the Month, and we were not disappointed. The new flavors were amazing—chorizo with goat cheese was a perfect choice! Definitely stop by if you're on your way to Buckingham Palace.Food: 5/5
Really good food. Lovely service. Lobster pasta was a little underwhelming in presentation but delicious. Garlic bread was amazing.Food: 5/5
Its very simple pasta dishes. I think the genvese beef I had was beautiful but the cacio pepe is very rich. The lemonade is not lemonade in the classic sense but lemoney soda. I would clarify what is what to make sure you get what you are expecting. Staff was slow to come by with the bill. Great if you have time to chat as a group, but not if you have to be somewhere timely
Bon Gusto delivers an Italian dining experience that's nothing short of fantastic. The food is exquisite, leaving taste buds in awe. With quick service, you won't be waiting long to indulge. And the desserts? They're the perfect finale, leaving nothing to be desired. This spot is a culinary gem worth savoring. It's advisable to make reservations, as this place can get busy, and they may have to turn people away. Don't miss the chance to savor this culinary gem!
The portions are big and the food is a real quality, however, it was a bit pricy. Professional service.Food: 5/5
