Outside seating area is well spaced and trees provide shade. The café building is modern and pleasant to look at. Inside it feels a bit ordinary but is clean and welcoming. Good coffee and food selection on the menu.
Lovely food great service and facilities
Popped in to this wonderful little cafe for some scrambled eggs and a flat white after a run on a rainy February morning. I was greeted with happy faces behind the bar, and the food arrived quickly and was delicious. The quiet background music was very pleasant and a lovely Romanian lady even brought the coffee to my table and regularly checked to make sure I had everything I needed. I will be back!
Perfect spot for a coffee or breakfast after a run around the park. Good quality food and it was served quickly.
The new Gunnersbury Park Cafe will definitely split opinions. Gone is the quirky drafty, grubby, cheap Park Cafe and in comes the shiny sleek chain-operated version Benugo is the operator I believe. I liked the interior - it was warm and full of natural day light. The food and drink is of a good quality and you can have wine or beer which is obviously new. The only problem is price e.g. £2.90 for a hot chocolate, which will put many park users off. It's a shame that there doesn't seem to be anyway to improve quality without making somewhere prohibitively expensive...
Really expensive chain cafe post 2018 re-opening - food and cafe is now Benugo. £4.50 for a tuna roll. Massive shame the refurbishment resulted in such a bland expensive cafe. Oh and despite the re-building of the cafe the nearby toilets which are for the cafe’s customers are unchanged: smelly, no soap in any of them, and no running water in the basin of one. Why such a state after such a big investment in Gunnersbury park?
We've been coming to this cafe regularly as the park is perfect for the kids to run around, and it is indeed a perfect spot to have some food and drinks. The food here is really good, nice pizza and salad. However, the service is awful during our recent visits, mostly down to a terrible manager who is rude to customers and also the staff. Really surprised to see this happening, especially in a cafe like this, which supposed to be family friendly and welcoming to the local community. Due to the awful management, the service is slow and chaotic in particular during the busy lunch hours. There is usually a long wait and if you dare to ask, the manger would be shouting at you as if it's your fault. Hope the management of the cafe sort it out soon, for the wellbeing of the staff and for the customers.
Lovely place! I love the new menu, and the food is really great it has improved so much over the past few months. Strongly recommend fish n chips!
The food was to a standard of satisfactory. The staffs attitude could do with improving But overall good service.
Food is excellent but at pub prices. Small playground next door for kids. Plenty of seating and quick service.
