I popped into Peter's Cafe to get a proper full English breakfast inside me before a long journey back to Manchester and it didn't disappoint. From the friendly "morning!" as I walked through the door, everything was just right. Lovely staff who were also very efficient - I was seated and my order taken within a minute. The food arrived very shortly afterwards, piping hot, very tasty and plenty of it. I ordered an extra sausage because it's not a proper breakfast unless there are at least two sausages! I really enjoyed my visit at 7:15am on a snowy Monday morning and will definitely be back when I am in the City again. Highly recommended.
Amazing little gem. We came for breakfast and we weren’t disappointed! Great range from a Full English to breakfast muffins or porridge. I had poached eggs on toast with bacon - the eggs were cooked perfectly on top quality bloomer bread. Cannot fault it!!
I've truly enjoyed delicious lunch from Peter's Cafe. I had takeaway jacket potato with tuna and cheese. The portion was very big, - such a good value for money. The food was fresh and nicely prepared. The cafe is small and cosy, and busy, for obvious reason. The stuff is friendly and helpful. Thank you. I will definitely be coming back.
I stopped by recently to serve breakfast. Because it is close to Aldgate station, the location was excellent. I was grateful for the staff's efficiency and friendliness. One of the worst full English breakfasts I've ever eaten, especially because the mushrooms tasted like dishwashing detergent. In addition, the space felt cramped and smoky due to the open kitchen. The panini, which I assume is their best dish, is something I haven't tried.
Cheap and cheerful greasy spoon. Fast and friendly service, good portion sizes and good prices. Staff are great! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, much as you'd expect Kid-friendliness: Won't encourage them to eat healthily, but the options are all good Wheelchair accessibility: There's outdoor seating; inside is probably a bit cramped for a wheelchair though
Been here twice, first time it was a nice experience. Second time we sat in and I’m definitely not coming back. The waitress was very rude. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwich and it came out it as a runny egg. I simply said can i get scrambled as i wasn’t aware. The waitress responds “ well did you say “….???? Well did you ask ???? Nope, and I know they’re suppose to because when I came the first time they made sure to ask. I just think that was rude as it is her job to inform if it comes a certain way or not, not blame the error on the customer.
I managed to get a seat outside as I planned and I was very happy with my visit. I ordered a full English with a latte i'm pretty certain i saw a lions face in the froth and everything was cooked to perfection and the service was top notch. I thoroughly recommend this place if you are in the area or passing through.
