Loved every single aspect about this place! Food AMAZING! So tasty and delicious. The price is just GREAT! Service and atmosphere is lovely, thank you so much! Will go back so soon!!!Food: 5/5
I have been to this place probably twenty times. They have a limited menu so I’ve eaten the same thing every time the Thali and it’s really good. I preferred it when it was under £10 but prices go up I suppose. Their onion bhaji’s are huge and great. You only need one between two if you’re ordering anything else. The food is generally not very spicy so good for tourists if you’re not used to Indian food or Indian food in London. The queue usually isn’t as big as some of the other places so getting served is pretty quick. Perfect if you’re nipping out at lunch. The guys who work there aren’t the owners so don’t have much charisma compared to other places in the market but don’t let that take away from the fact the food is great. I take it back to my desk and eat it but there are places to sit around the market if you don’t mind sharing space with others. It’s pure takeaway. No dining space. The place has been there years and years so it’s got to be decent right? I will go again
The food is overpriced and not particularly tasty, similar to ordinary fare. In my opinion, homemade food is much better and more flavorful than what's offered here. While the staff is helpful and honest, the experience overall isn't worth it. In fact, the stalls at Borough Market seem to be greatly overhyped.Food: 2/5
Really good vegetarian Indian food, and almost everything is gluten free. You can also get lassi and ice chai. Also really good.Food: 5/5
Gujarati has delicious Indian food at great prices and fast service too. I love the samosas, made with a filo type pastry and they have a nice sweet element to themFood: 5/5
I’ve had a delicious Indian Triple with cauliflower , potatoes , lentils and rice. The taste was really great and well spicy seasoned. We don’t know anything about other menu positions, so the opinion is strictly for Triple. Food is served in a nice boxes which do not fall apart and easy to eat from. Recommend to stop by here when in Borough Market, but avoid visiting this place on weekends because of crowds.
We were enticed by the bubbly curries and dishes at their kiosk in Borough Market. We ordered the three seasonal Gujarati dishes and were not disappointed - wow they were delicious! We had what looked like a dark lentil dahl, a cauliflower curry and another veggie curry. It came with rice and the option of multiple sauces that made the dish completely delicious. It was so well seasoned and all of it was vegan. We were so happy.
The food is really good - easily the best on Broadway market ‘s Saturday incarnation ! But they get bigly marked down for the inexplicable refusal to provide a paper or otherwise bag. This, in where the weather is….variable. The food comes hot & full yay! in a paper box & has a bit of liquid dahl. So it’s really pretty awkward to transport if one isn’t eating it right away anyway it’s better taken home & decanted onto a plate owing to the design of the box. It also feels a little rich at £11 but whatevs…
Was walking past when the bhajias on the window caught my eye. Crispy and tasty. Will be back again to try more.Food: 5/5
Enjoyed this very much. The triple with a potato flat bread too. So full after I did not need to eat for a long time. I am not that good with really hot chilli in food and this was a slow burn that had a heat that grew then levelled off so never unpleasant. This stall had no queue unlike the stall next door with a 15 minute wait for their sandwiches.
