Very cozy place, everything very clean, tidy with a great home made breakfast. Emma made us feel very welcome, she gave us lots of tips for our 4 days in Snowdonia. The location couldn't be better, Betws-y-coed is not only beautiful but close to everything. I definitely recommend Grove House and will be back for sure.Rooms: 5/5
Emma and her husband Huw Hugh were amazing! We only had two days to visit North Wales and had a very loose plan of places to visit and no real understanding of their significance. After we chatted and asked for suggestions on areas to visit, Huw and Emma sat with us our first morning and suggested a much more meaningful plan that culminated in our falling in love with the area. We now want to plan another visit to Wales and use Emma's place as our home base. It really is the best place to visit all the castles and significant spots around 30-45 min drive. Emma cooked an amazing breakfast--traditional British Breakfast with perfectly cooked bacon, eggs, sausages black pudding and toast. The locally made toast especially the German multi-grain bread was our favorite!! We can't say enough good things about their hospitality. The room was comfortable and they changed out the towels for the bathroom each day we stayed. Fresh flowers greeted us in the dining room, which was a nice touch. We would highly recommend it to our friends and family!
Have been coming here for years. Emma and Huw are always welcoming, kind and thoughtful. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. I would never think about booking anywhere else.
