We have had 3 or 4 family birthdays at this venue over the past few years. On each occasion we had food. Generally the food has been ok. We have just had another party their and the food was extremely poor I would say supermarket microwave meals were being served and not good ones at that. The food has over the years kept me interested enough to attend the venue but sadly not anymore. I don't gamble so I can't comment on the tables but I can suggest three improvements that need urgent attention if they are wanting to compete with their rivals. no 1 get a good chef. No2 the lighting is to bright and needs dimming to create an atmosphere and lastly and the most important is take a look at what is happening to the beer market. Get some hand pumps and real ales not everyone drinks John smiths or Lager. I offer to drive every time I visit purely because the bar is very very poor and I would rather go without than drink something I am not keen on. It all sounds negative but it's a nice friendly place it's just lagging behind its rivals.

Great atmosphere when busy, can be quiet sometimes.

Lovely bar area lager is always spot on and slot machines seem to have a high percentage payout as long as you don't play for too long 30-60 minutes then out.
