Go somewhere else. £20 for a tiny and warm Caesar salad. The croutons are so old and stale that they occasionally hurt to chew and you have to spit them out if you end up accidentally eating one. The chicken is bland and dry. Barely any lettuce. Gross and overpriced. The side "salad" is just lettuce in a bowl with no dressing. They said they don't have any dressing, just lemon and oil. The pasta is fine I guess. It's something a bachelor might make in 5 minutes in the middle of the night.
Good food and I eat here if I'm staying at the hotel. Food good quality and sensibly priced given the location. This time I had the fish and chips: the batter was light and cooked just enough - very pleased. Not enough peas. Good tartar sauce. Staff very good but could listen better sometimes. Good enough to let me stay in the hotel to eat after a hard day's work, so I like it.
We felt like having some decent American cuisine and ended up here at the Greenport Kitchen. It's a large hotel restaurant at the Hilton, very clean and sleek with super friendly staff. I was a bit disappointed to see that there was no mac and cheese on the menu, my all time favourite go-to in American restaurants. But I went for the chicken and bacon penne in four cheese sauce as a good substitute option and it was delicious! My friend had the messy pulled pork burger, which was also very good. Food came out quickly and was very good. Definitely recommend this place.
We came to this restaurant as it’s attached to the hotel that we were staying at. My husband had the fish and chips which he really liked and I had the pepperoni pizza. Now I was looking forward to my pizza as they claim to be “Pizza Specialists” and every pizza is freshly made to order. When my pizza came out I thought it looked familiar. After taking a bite my thoughts were correct, it was actually in fact a Chicago Town Pepperoni Pizza with the Tomato Sauce stuffed crust! I paid £16 for a £3 frozen pizza! I admit I didn’t say anything I was far too hungry but I’m writing this review to warn other potential customers that their pizza is not freshly made it’s a frozen pizza!
Had a late dinner here after a day of tourist activities. It was very convenient because we were tired and it was late. They had good options and the serving staff were top notch. They were very attentive and answered all questions about the menu. The food was delivered quickly. The garlic mozzarella balls were amazingly delicious! The serving sizes are quite large, we were unable to finish our entire meal, but ordered appatizers so that's comes into play. I had a cheese and bacon burger and it was super delicious and had great taste!
Well you have to check your bill you get charged for things you don't have ordered you got things not ordered. Too slow too quite empty and easy dishes took ages. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and salads
Third time here. Last two times came before theatre - Death of England at The National 10 min walk and Christmas Carol at The Old Vic next door. Something for everyone on the menu. Last time I had the salmon, one mate had lamb shank, and other a vegan burger. Today, really tasty fish and chips and v/large pinot grigio as staying at the Hampton Waterloo hotel tonight for an early meeting in Southbank. Raffi always super helpful.
As my partner and I were staying In the hotel, for convenience sake we came and ate in here this evening. We both ordered the same, pepperoni pizza but I ordered mine with red onion. So... they both came out and i literally had red onion sprinkled on top after it was cooked, my first suspicion!!! The pizza had a tomato sauce within the crust... tasted very familiar!! My partner and I said at the exact time... this is a Chicago town frozen pizza!!! We did look online and the pizzas looked identical as well as the taste. So, I've paid about £35 for 2 pizzas when I could have got them in Iceland for £9. When the waitress came over I did ask if they were made on site, as they claim to be "pizza specialists" the girl hesitated and after a few umm's she said she didn't know but could ask the kitchen. I was flabbergasted, how could this waitress not know if it was made and cooked fresh on site!!! I responded saying no, don't worry about it but wished I'd carried it through. After getting back into our room I looked at reviews and low and behold.. the first one I see is from a lady saying exactly the same. This confirmed my suspicions.... the pizza we were served is 100% a cheap Chicago town one. Very, very disappointed. With it being linked to the Hilton franchise you would expect more.
Tasty food, served by attentive staff. We popped in for a quick meal and this place was a safe option for our family. Nothing tok fancy or different, but very functional. Kid-friendliness: A children's menu is available.
Very pleasant service with smiling sociable staff. Good fish and chips. I'd recommend.Food: 4/5
