We cant thank Emily and Gary enough me and my partner booked the entire site for our wedding guest and our evening reception and from start to finish both Emily and Gary were incredible we really couldn't of done it without you guys special thanks to Gary for saving the day and lending my partner his cufflinks nothing was to much trouble..The lodges are amazing with loads of space inside and out they are fully equipped with all the mod cons in the kitchen, each bedroom has a TV so this came in handy when it was time to settle the kids down the beds were incredibly soft and so comfy each cabin had a cake tin with a slice for each guest when we arrived the best lemon cake may I just add and I totally got the recipe before we left the hot tub and sauna were added bonuses too. I could go on and on about how amazing this place is and Emily and Gary but my best advice would be to book it and go see for yourself you really won't be disappointed Thank you guys for having us and making our weekend so magical I won't ever be able to thank you both enough
Starting with the booking the accommodation, it was easy,the owner explained everything, no hidden charges. On our arrival we were welcomed by lady owner with huge smile and the best attitude i have seen in long time.the hayloft 1 lodge we have stayed in was beautifly decorated, organised and cleaned. Any questions we had were answered. Although the lodge was neighbouring with reception, it was most peaceful stay we have had to date.the hot tub was amazing and ready for us on arrival.partner and i and our kids enjoyed the the full weekend in this tranquil location. Would we stay again?yes we would 5 stars isnt enough to rate this place and lovely people.on the way back home we went to see my inlaws and i have recommended them to book here too on their next adventure.
2nd time staying here. Again we took the Hayloft and 2 Lodges. Emily and Gary keep everything absolutely spot on and offer lots of advice regarding the local area, whether it's for a walk or out for food and drink. Can't recommend it high enough. Booked for 2023 with the family again.
Perfect little getaway for our chilled girly weekend away. Good location, clean, comfy beds, plenty facilities in the cabin and reasonably priced. The hot tub/sauna was great for an evening party but also for a daytime chill. Our hosts Gary and his family are lovely and very accommodating. They even gave us a lift to the local pub. They were always on the end of the phone of we needed them. Thanks for a great stay. 5 stars well deserved and would definitely recommend x
Emily and Gary were really helpful during our stay in the hayloft cottage and the sauna and hot tub were great. Booking system works very well for this, we had milk in the fridge and cake made on arrival. The cottage was clean and well maintained, couldn't fault it. Amazing surroundings too. Beds were extremely comfortable and had great sleep on both nights we stayed. They also accommodated our 2 house cats, the cats enjoyed the secure garden area at the back of the cottage. Highly recommend green view lodges as its remote enough but less than 10 minutes to Dalston where we had a lovely pub meal and got necessities for our stay. Thanks Darren and Paulina
The lodge was beautiful modern and clean. The 2 bathrooms, dishwasher and BBQ were an added bonus. The delicious home baked cake were a nice little touch along with the milk In the fridge. We made use of the BBQ, dishwasher hot tub and sauna. The dogs enjoyed free time in the enclosed exercise area and their own animals were also very friendly. Can't wait to get back. The owners were always on hand if we needed anything. Thank you Emily and Gary for a much needed enjoyable stay.
Lovely warm lodge. Has everything - oven microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Nice welcome pack of milk and home made cake. Provides not just toilet rolls but washing up liquid, tea towel, kitchen roll and a few condiments.
Fabulous holiday home in gorgeous setting. Owners are the perfect hosts. Loved everything about it.Rooms: 4/5
More then excellent! Very cute cottage with everything you need. Best nights sleep we have had in a long time as quiet site. Clean and easy assessable hot tub and sauna. Beautiful home made cake on arrival, tasty fresh eggs available. Such good value for money better then any hotel. Thank you so so much Emily and garyRooms: 5/5
Very very great place. The house is very clean, good size, equipped with everything you may need. Gary and Emily are very helpful and cute. The beds are very comfortable. There really wasn’t something in the house that we wouldn’t have found. They were greeted with cake and milk. There were even some basic things needed for cooking in the cupboard. The environment is simply wonderful. I recommend it to everyone with a completely calm heart. Especially for families and animals. This is the calm island itself.
