While cycling part of King Alfred's way. I came across this pub. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food was very enjoyable. I was made to feel safe with all the guidelines being followed. Well done to all
Lovely old pub with bright , modern, well equipped rooms in an annexe. Nicky and her team are lovely and welcoming , and breakfast is very nice too.
Popped in on the off chance at lunchtime whilst in the area visiting relatives. What a lovely village pub. Food was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Superb value for money. Well worth a visit. Probably best to book as we were lucky to get a table.

A lovely, village pub. Modern, clean and friendly staff. Great selection of food and drinks.
Stayed here in August 2020. The accommodation was at the back of village pub with clean, quiet rooms with en-suite. Excellent quality food with cooked breakfast included in the accommodation price. Good base for Stonehenge, Bath and the market town of Devizes is also worth a visit. Dog-friendly pub and accommodation.
I have had one of the best meals I have ever had tonight. It was hot, fresh, tasty & just delicious.
Really a place to come back to. We stayed over for a long weekend. Rooms were very clean, service and food were excellent.
Nice friendly staff, well organized.
