Excellent.  Simply the best avian vets in the UK.  Neil Forbes, the previous owner, is one of the most highly qualified and experienced avian vets in the world and has now handed over the baton to Tom Dutton who is professional, extremely knowledgeable, kind and caring and leads a wonderful team of avian specialists (Fiona, Tariq and Dan are all excellent).

You will not get better treatment for your bird: all species are given the same high standard of care.  We happily make a 5-hour round trip to see this team.  Very few vets in the UK can match the specialist knowledge, experience and qualifications on offer here.  The service really is different and can make a real difference to the outcome.  I have taken a number of birds here that I am sure would have died or suffered poor outcomes had I gone elsewhere.  I can't thank them enough.

Been going here for years, very good for exotics, eg. Reptiles, rats, ferrets. Wouldn't go anywhere else, have been up there all hours of the day and night and that is very reassuring when u have a sick animal.

£50  consultation per Leopard Gecko? one animal per consultation? Very expensive, very snotty when told that it was expensive considering Leopard Geckos are the 'Hamsters' of the reptile world. Other MUCH cheaper exotic vets within 35 miles, still cheaper even including fuel to get there.

This is a very difficult review for me to write. Our day on a personal level was horrible, as our APH had to be PTS. However the staff as a whole were excellent with us, kind and compassionate in trying to help us deal with what was happening. Knowledgeable about our pet and very articulate in explaining what was happening and reassuring us about what was happening. I cannot express enough how good they are as vets and as people. They treated Penny with a great deal of dignity and respect from the moment we arrived to the moment she left us and we took her home.
