After having a long walk around Westminster and reaching London Eye the closest restaurant that could be found was Great British Fish and Chips. I ordered fish burger with chips. To be honest, it tasted good and quality was also great. The restaurant was totally packed with people and could hardly find any place to sit. Service is good. So no complains.
Not the best fish and chip but the location are very good for tourists to stop and rest a little! The fried fish was quite oily and did not deboned well, so be careful when you bit into it! Their menu also serves many different dishes like chicken and chips, hamburgers, chicken tenders and nuggets! Also serve many sweets and desserts! Good for quick snack but not the best quality for food for sure! One big point for this place is they use biodegradable forks and knives!
Amazing food and service! The staff found us a seat even though the place was packed, the fish was massive and is so fresh that you can see the skin on it. Would definitely eat here again! The picture doesn’t do it justice since I ate some of it before remembering to take a photo of it
The portion was quite small, but nevertheless was served with authenticity. Wrapped in a paper box and it’s contents a scrumptious fish and chips brought with tradition to the plate of the costumer. The staff were friendly, and were ready to give service. The atmosphere is quite bright has lots of choices in the menu from the ordinary fish and chips to ‘Halal burger and chips and even Halal hot dog and chips. The establishment is clean and tidy, hope YOU the reader come and try this place out, and hope you can rate it as I done it so. Yours Gastronomia
The taste n quantity of fish and chips is fine. Ice cream was good. But they didn’t serve tarter sauce with it which other restaurants usually do in the same price. It’s fully packed restaurant. Menu is limited.
We had lunch here after long walk the place was very busy, considering how busy it was the service was very quick and table was clean and able we had fish, chicken and chips thought the price was quiet high but then again it was central London.
It was a great experience to visit this place, price is not that expensive and the location is great not too far from the station and near Big Ben and London Eye. The cons are, too crowded and you'll have to wait to enter. Second, too many sits that there's no more space to even walk and you'll have to squizzed into a small space to sit and worse thing the table is shared :D Not our type but since we came here to enjoy and experience new things, that one is new for us. All in all it was a nice experience and the food is good as fish and chips. Would we comback? well, we could of course. If you're travelling with children, would be better not here cause the other table beside us, couple with kids were really struggling with the space. Hope this one helps you in your future visit :
This place is just amazing! I took my parents here and we loved it! The person in charge of the place treat us really well and the people from the staff were truly friendly with us e.g. my mum doesn't speak English and one of the workers from this place luckily was a Spanish spear as my mum is, so they had a quick chat. The prices are good for the location London is hugely expensive and this spot is probably much cheaper than others. They serve the food that you order in seconds and the place is clean! We tried both fish and chips and southern fried chicken with chips and the food was tasty! Highly recommended!
A bit pricey considering the foods that we had. The fish and chips was good though.
After a tiring wall towards London eye, we got our tickets and had 35 minutes to kill so we decided to pop in to this chip shop. The great thing was that is was halal which was a great news to us. We ordered a couple of fish and chips and a burger and chicken nuggets total came to 33 pounds which was expected in London. Food quality was good everything was fries perfectly, venue was also clean. Overall a 4/10.
