Tucked away from the main street, so wasn't busy when we went. Very clean. Friendly staff. We had jacket potatoes with chilli, cheese and a side salad. Latte and a pot of tea that came with plenty of fresh milk. All very nice. Well worth a visit here to see the Victorian /Edwardian chemist's cabinets.
Nice stop for afternoon tea. Each pot makes about two cups, ask for the tea menu as a wide selection of teas available vs. Just the usual English Breakfast, and nice selection of scones and cakes.
Lovely little cafe, service was great and the scone was huge. Extra points for the cute milk jug!
We have never had wonderful food served faster or with such friendliness. The panini are very generous and tasty. All quirky requests are accepted as challenges. Lovely atmosphere. Thank you.
