I wanted to say thank you to Cassie and Andrew. They have been acting on my behalf in a medical case and the service I have received has been excellent so far. I chose this company to act on my behalf primarily because of Cassie. She was kind, empathic and genuine with me when discussing a highly personal and sensitive matter. I dreaded calling solicitors to discuss my case, but Cassie made the whole process easier. I have had regular contact with Cassie throughout my case who has spent at times over an hour talking through the impact of my experiences with me. On one particular call I had recently undergone surgery and I was feeling quite low and emotional. She empathised and validated my feelings and treated me with respect and dignity. I am a mental health nurse and had felt that my feelings weren’t as important as others. Cassie was patient and kind and I got off the call to her feeling less self critical about not being able to do the things I had been able to before my surgery. Andrew has also been exceptional. I felt apprehensive initially talking to a male about my case. However Andrew was empathic to my experiences and extremely proffesional. He has been kind and knowledgable which helped me to not feel so embarrassed about discussing my case. Andrew has kept in touch with me regularly throughout. He even contacts me when there is no update to give, but this saves me the need to chase anything up. I have ADHD and I really appreciate the level of communication that they have maintained and their transparency and clarity about what to expect and when. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced any delay in response to emails in over a year of corresponding with them. When I was due to have my surgery I was facing a lot of logistical issues due to being a single parent. Andrew went above and beyond to help me to make it possible for me to have my surgery. The surgery has massively improved the quality of my life and I would not have been able to have this without the support from Graysons. They have organised specialists to provide reports as part of my case. They advocated for choice in who would complete these reports and the clinicians involved were experts who also treated me with kindness and compassion. If ever I wanted to make any amendments to documents, this was done without question and in a timely manner. Regardless of the outcome of my case, I am certain that I chose the best firm to represent me. I have the upmost faith in them that they will advocate for my best interests and they have worked extremely hard on my case. Thank you!

Graysons in Sheffield were able to assist with a conveyancing matter for myself and my husband. Communication was a little lacking, with me often having the chase them. My biggest issue is the months following the completion of this. Various representatives at Graysons Sheffield continue to contact me on a monthly basis trying to acquire further business. I answered the first time and explained we do not need any further assistance at this time. They were trying to encourage me to use their Will service. However, this appears to not be sufficient with continued phone calls and voicemails. I am at the stage where I am considering blocking the phone numbers.
The worst ever. Take 300 pounds of me for nothing. I sent all my paperwork to the solicitor supposed to help me in my case. No phone back or email after months. Avoid.
We used Graysons for the purchase of our house, as first time buyers. They were knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process, and helped things move along quickly, but could be quite hard to get a hold of. Towards the end of the process we dropped off some files and requested copies which we never received despite chasing up many times, and upon completion we were sent documentation for an entirely different property, which they also never really apologised for or even acknowledged the fault. No major complaints during the process but some unprofessional aspects towards the end which caused frustration.

The wills and probate section were shockingly poor, characterised by delays, errors and omissions to the point where one had to wonder if they were being intentionally obstructive. At a time of grieving the last thing anyone needs is the stress and hassle they caused. Avoid at all costs. The first meeting was with an unkempt individual wearing jeans and a sweatshirt who gave two pieces of advice which directly contradicted the government website. We asked for a different person to deal with, and now regret greatly not walking away at that point. There were far too many delays, errors and omissions to list here. One of the most frustrating incidents related to the sale of the house. The house sale could not be completed until probate was granted. When we were eventually told we had probate we discovered it had actually been granted four weeks previously, but neither us or the conveyancing solicitor also Graysons had been informed! The house sale was then delayed a further four months as one purchaser in the chain had pulled out due to the delay. Another notable frustration was that once the house sale completed, the money received from the sale stayed in Graysons account. If they had been organised they could have started paying out immediately, however it took many emails and phone calls before they started paying out two weeks later - this was largely due to a small error in the estate accounts which I pointed out weeks earlier and took only a minute or two to correct.
Couldn’t recommend Graysons enough for that they did with our probate matter. From start to finish, Ellie has been our angel over the last several months and we can’t thank her enough. When it came to conveyancing regarding our property, Claire and Meriet moved mountains what turned out to be a complicated matter regarding the sale due to unforeseen circumstances. Again, thanks to Graysons for making a hard time easier for us.
We would like to join many others recorded here in high praise for Katie Birch. We recently had to redo our wills as we had been putting it off. It's never an easy process but working with Katie made it much better. Her help, support and advise were invaluable. Though warm and friendly, she was both extremely professional and knowledgeable. We never felt rushed and she gave us the time we needed to work through both our wills and the Lasting Power of Attorney. Cannot say anything other than we received first class service! Many thanks.
