We visited just to use the Spa facilities. Very reasonably priced and for just £4 you can use just wet facilities or £6 to include gym too. We used the pool (which is warm but small, perfect for a dip but not lengths) jacuzzi and sauna. Made to feel very welcome and encouraged to stay as long as we wanted. You can also book treatments in advance too. There is a lovely area where you can have lunch and or coffee etc with stunning views of Swanage Bay. Will definitely return here.

The only great thing about this place it's the location. Absolutely perfect spot with the beach just down the steps. The decor & facilities are very outdated and that wouldn't bother me, but the room despite being small was very cold. The water in the shower was cold despite leaving in running for 10 minutes. And after almost sleepless night that was definitely unwelcome development. After mentioning it when checking-out I was informed that I should have left it for at least 20 minutes. Too little, too late. Should have been mentioned during check-in. The breakfast was ok although my pouched egg looked like a tiny dot on a piece of toast. The place has bags of potential due to its location, but needs refurbishment and more attention to details approach.

I visited the hotel leisure 'centre' in order to have a swim with my 6month old. The pool is very small but the perfect size for quick splash around, as long as there aren't too many other people attempting to swim. There is also a jacuzzi which I obviously couldn't test out. The changing rooms were clean and well designed with a nice baby changing area. The receptionist was very friendly and the rate very reasonable at only £4 for us both.

Food great .bedroom had a fantastic view over swanage lounge very comfortable and relaxed .We had a piano player one evening really excellent .large gym ..thoroughly enjoyed my stay

Lovely restaurant staff, good breakfast, enjoyed sitting in eve listening to pianist, made good use of gum/pool facilities, dated bathrooms and some reception staff robbed this review of 5 stars
