Changed a great deal over the years but still well worth a visit.
Govan is a poor shadow of its former self. Centre of the former shipbuilding industry on the Clyde.
Govan have a good shopping centre near bank of Scotland lot of shops around subway and bus Station so you have a access to get any destination around Glasgow
If you can't figure out the Glasgow subway system, you shouldn't leave the house--it's that easy! I'm not sure whether this is closer than the Patrick Station for getting to the Riverside Museum, but this one does involve using the free ferry boat which is kind of fun, but you may have to wait 10 minutes or more, since it only fits about 8-10 people. Also nearby is the Govan church, which is beautiful and has stones from the Viking era.
Always clean, warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Always happy with my experience here and that's why it's my number one choice for my commute.
Awesome its a place for people who are retired peaceful society. With huge parks and old constructions but well maintained. Near to schools colleges and recreation centre has subway too near by.
Fast, cheap only reason for not giving 5 stars is the poor Sunday service. 10-6 is just not good enough.
Very difficult to use if you have a baby buggy. The attendants unnecessarily force you to fold it up, even if there is nobody on the train.
Really nice place to get everyday essentials.
