It's very busy at certain times of the day but I find going into town in the morning is quiter. You have a lot of choice of different shops on argyle Street.
Unfriendly staff. Not disabled friendly. Not uncommon to find that escalator is broken. Station is unpleasant and in need of maintenance. Not open on Sunday past 6pm.
If you are visiting Glasgow, then you need to visit the Argyle Street, you will find all shopping malls, stores and a classic beauty of the city center
Argyle street train station is in a very convenient place for shoppers on argyle street or the st enoch shopping centre. When I get off the train at central I usually go down the stairs and get the train up to argyle street to save having to walk through the busy crowd. It looks like a subway station.
Argyle Street Station is one those location its central. with two main exits one to back takes you to St Enoch centre & Front Exit takes you to Argyle Street. Tickets can be bought at booth or you can use ticket machines. It has moving stairs and lift if you need help. The Station is manned is one better stations in Glasgow.
Too close to Glasgow central which is useless

I work in argyle st stn, I look after my commuters with a high degree of professionalism and also to all my regular customers ,ie shoppers tourists and every day travellers .
