Came by here couple weeks ago and really enjoyed sitting for a few Peroni and talking with the female barista on duty. Came specifically to the station today for a drink and was met by the most miserable and full of attitude member of staff. Sat down on the tall stools and asked for a drink, guy literally rolled his eyes and turned round to face out the other side. I asked if we could order a drink and he said yeah if you’re going to get up and come round here. Honestly unbelievable, the place was literally empty but you’re going to refuse service based on having to take a few steps? Talk to your female counterpart, she’ll teach you how to do your job. Won’t be visiting again.
Had a pastel de nata, wasn't nice. Tasted like it had been out for days. Coffee was or equally poor quality.
Good Coffee and Tea options in a convenient location within the station. Has some seating and tables for use if you have time to kill. Reasonable prices and friendly service.
Had a really, really good long black to take away here last weekend. Rarely get a bad brew from anywhere with a La Marzocco and this was no exception...
Fairly pricey but it's currently the only place at the station to get food or drinks so at least they aren't trying to take advantage of that too much. Quite a good selection of drinks and food, both hot and cold.
Just paid best part of £3 for some instant coffee flavoured water. Was looking forward to a decent americano as advertised and the lady serving boiled some water and threw in a handfull of instant coffee. Not impressed
Personally, when in the train station, I prefer to go to this café. The workers are friendly and there is enough choice and seating.
Single expresso charged at the price of a double with cream and no option for a single in the price list as it is everywhere else . Staff justified the price saying they use the same dose of coffee. I will never use this place again nor I will recommend it.
Good coffee, convenient location and opening hours, ok prices and service! But just one thing,for the love of God man; please smile! Salute people, ask them how they are! Life is too short!
Not as good as your Loughborough or Leicester branches
