Been using the garage for a couple of years now for non land rovers, team always accommodating and helpful. Explaining any issues and providing options. Offer courtesy cars too which can help. Plan to continue to use them going forward.
Highly recommend the team at Gotherington Cross Garage! Very professional, work was carried out timely, courtesy car provided and communication before, during and after the repair. They removed the top mountnof my air suspension on my Lexus RX450 and worked in conjunction with Brian next door at Orchard Engineering to repair the part. Seemless repair and my steering feels smooth like butter! Thank you all!

This is about the fourth time I have used this garage. They are always very friendly and efficient. My son has autism so he can be very challenging when it comes to his car but they are very patient and understanding of him. Took my Lexus RX450H to Gotherington Cross Garage this week for them to remove my nearside air suspension strut and pass across to Brian at Orchard Engineering for him to repair top strut bearing. On arrival at 08.30 I was met by Chloe who was so friendly and welcoming , she passed me keys to courtesy car to use whilst the work was carried out and advised the car should be ready around lunchtime, at 12.30pm I was advised that works had been completed and vehicle was ready for collection. I live in Newbury Berkshire some 60miles away but I have to say I am so glad that I found both Orchard Engineering and Gotherington Cross Garage as the levels of expertise and customer service were truly exceptional and all completed at a very reasonable price and made the drive so worthwhile. I would definitely recommend both companies to any future customers near and far as the service I experienced exceeds other industry businesses across all areas. Well done to you all from a most satisfied customer.
This was the second time I've used GX. They are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Perhaps most impressive was that the bill for the work they did was about £100 cheaper than the estimate, as the job took less time than anticipated. That honesty is highly commendable!
Recently had part of my van's suspension fall apart on me, so after a quick phone call, I popped by on the off chance they could diagnose the problem. Not only did they easily diagnose, they fixed the same day. An absolute five star garage. Communication is brilliant, and the confirmation texts are always a welcome touch. I don't feel talked down to for not knowing much about vehicles, and I have an underlying sense of trust in the garage and team that I cannot easily describe why, but if you've ever experienced other garages that don't leave you with that feeling, you'll know what I mean. My parents started using Gotherington Cross when we first moved to the area 20+ years ago, and other than a brief hiatus due to not realising they service commerical vehicles/vans/camper vans, I've used them as well. I cannot recommend Gotherington Cross enough.
This is my nearest local garage and although I have often used Hyundai garages to carry out the servicing on my Hyundai i20 in the past, more recently I have found that the Gotherington Cross garage is often cheaper. The staff are friendly and helpful too.ServicesGeneral repairs & maintenance
