It seems to now have new owners, so they may upgrade the quality of the food? The breakfast I had wasn’t very good. Very cheap sausage and I guess NOT free range eggs, also my purse was stolen from this cafe and it wasn’t customers. Did get in touch with previous owner regarding the CTV guess what it wasn’t working. So left a very bad taste for me.
The cafe has recently been refurbished and now looks appealing. There is an outside seating area. Inside the tables are quite close together. The food is typically cafe food. The wait is short and it's good value for money. It's not upmarket but it's a friendly place and the staff are welcoming.
Wouldn't go there again if they paid me. Overpriced Overcharged Rude staff, very confrontational with no people skills. They Shouldn't be working in a place that requires them to interact with customers. Worst cafe in Brighton and Hove.
Always go there breakfast and coffee 5.25 it's also not greasy and laid out on a plate very professional just brilliant
Chipped glasses, wrong change as they were too busy holding a baby and when food was served the waitress went on and on about overcharging us and we said don't worry please leave us to eat our food and still she went on and then said you asked for raw onion that's another 40p - avoid at all costs
Ordered toast and scrambled eggs. The eggs was over cooked and dry, just crumbled and tasteless. Staff was friendly enough.
The Best no-nonsense veggie bruch across Brighton & Hove. Good Value & Quality.
Have an Italian surprise every Thursday evening! Its delicious! :D
Very nice place cosy atmosphere food not bad either
