Excellent food, great if you want a more fine dining experience. We had starters, mains and desserts we couldn't say no. Vegetarian with lots of vegan choices. We chose mock tails and they were delightful.
Amazing food! We took the festive menu option where you have 3 choices for a starter, main and a dessert. Everything we had was really tasty.Food: 5/5
Definitely some of the best food in Brighton. I can’t tell you how good this food is, go in there and you won’t be disappointed. It’s just a fabulous vegetarian restaurant. With amazing food.
My first visit in over 3 years due to living abroad. Consistency was excellent, although the tapas has too much seaweed for my personal taste. Still 5 stars tho!
Stunning food! I really enjoyed it!! I had the mushroom dish as a main and it was delicious with lots of complementary flavours but also the samphire was fantastic. It's often very woody but this wasn't at all! Perfection! The dessert was really lovely too I liked that there was only a hint of verbena in the brûlée it made it fresh but not like perfume. The berry ice cream something about how chunky it was in texture really made it special. I loved it! If I was in Brighton I'd be here all the time! Vegetarian options: Vegan options
Visited this place twice this week, once for dinner and once for Afternoon Tea. The dinner was fantastic! I'd give it 5 stars. The Afternoon Tea i would give 3 stars. Everything was delicious, but the ratio of savoury to sweet was way off. I reckon it was 75% sweet, which meant that we got sick of the sweet stuff and couldn't even finish it. The waiter told us that very few people ever finish it, which might go to show that there is too much sweet. I would definitely go back for dinner though!
Oh my god! We went for the valentine's Day tasting menu and it was insanely good. The KFC cauliflower wings were probably my favourite but even my omnivore partner loved everything!!
Today we visited Terre à Terre for our Valentine's Day lunch. We booked in advance but some people were able to walk in. To drink my wife had a white wine, my son the apple juice and I had the alcohol-free St. Peter's beer. These were all very much enjoyed. For starters we shared the Hushpuppy Plumpkin and the Karekatsu Tofu. Both were incredible in portion size, appearance and taste. Mains were delicious but not as outstanding as our starters. My wife opted for the fungi risotto and I had the tart tatin, that was deconstructed. The purées were smooth and flavourful but the discs of pastry rather than a case were not as expected, just like the cheap paper napkins. Service was prompt and when we found the plastic cover in our mayo the server was quick to apologise. They also took the chips that came with the mayo off the bill without us even asking. We booked a table for 12pm and the restaurant quickly filled. Baby changing is on street level in the accessible toilets with further toilets downstairs. These were cramped and the bumpy floor tiles had dirt in the crevices. After initially visiting for our anniversary and having an unforgettable afternoon tea we were keen to come back. Terre á Terre did not disappoint.
We had an amazing time celebrating a special occasion with the afternoon tea! Terre à Terre were wonderful accommodating my food intolerances and gave me a different, but equally considered, delicious plate for the savoury tier. They also helped us out with some preferences for the sweet options and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back next time we have something to celebrate! The afternoon tea menu is a fantastic way to try lots of incredible treats from across the menu and was worth every penny. An extra thank you to Vanessa for helping me with the booking + dietary requirements.
Super friendly and helpful staff. We went for afternoon tea, for a birthday and the food was delicious. I had a veggie one. A bit alternative so don't go expecting sandwiches etc. A little bit pricey but I'm guess that's because of the different and high class ingredients. Also we had to wait 40+ mins between courses savory to sweet with a near empty restaurant which was a tad annoying.
