Nice food, very nice helpful staff, great coffee! And it's a nice light space with comfy seating. Great for watching the hustle and bustle of St James street through the window with a coffee.
Overall quality of food halfway to ok. Staff incompetent and slow and prices are way overboard. Bought a good English breakfast and tea, server forgot the tea. The “American pancakes” arrived as one floppy crepe and some overdone bacon which cost the same as the full English.

Such a shame where should be a good coffee shop there is a soulless bar with a poor costumer service with the most horrible coffee in town. Too expensive... The place looks and feels dirty ... The table was sticky. Horrible experience...
Walked passed the place yesterday to see a man smoking inside I’m sorry if you own a cafe you shouldn’t be smoking inside! God knows what they actually do in the kitchen so wrong.
Got the maple syrup and bacon American pancakes. Couldve used more syrup but I have a sweet tooth and drizzle that stuff like gravy on mashed potatoes. The bacon strips not back was excellent and was 5/5. Pancakes were good too.
Try Coffee with Choclate cake here, you love it.
My family and I come to Brighton often as we can my wife and myself are both pensioners after finding Cafe Rocco we go out of our way to visit there as all members of staff are professional the food is great as are the beverages please believe me when I say your missing out if you don’t visit
