I didn't use the Ferry but Google maps tracked me as being here. I was in Gosport, and I thought the Haslar Marina was very nice.nI was also in Lee-on-the-Solent, from where I walked and came upon Brown Military training area. I have included photos of the same. Brown's area was very pleasant indeed.

Easy way how to cross to Gosport and back. Ferry runs every 15 minutes. At least on the day of our trip. Weather was appalling yet the ride was very pleasant. There is ticket kiosk just before you enter the main entry. You can pick different tickets. Basic one is return too. What a touch. Payment is contactless, coins or bank notes.

18 years ago the ferry cost me one pound to cross. I love the sea scene and iconic Portsmouth landmark Spinnaker Tower!

Love our ferry service from Gosport to Portsmouth. Always a greet service.

I have used this ferry service for over 15 years and it has always proved a great service. In all that time there has only been once when the boat was not running and that was due to a security incident on the Portsmouth side. Staff are always friendly and helpful. On the trip across you get great views of Portsmouth Harbour and if lucky you will also be able to see both Aircraft carriers in port. The journey only takes 10 minutes which is a lot better than the hour or so it takes to drive around. When you arrive at the Portsmouth side you get great view of HMS Warrior.
