Wonderful garden and excellent cafe. Service was really good and the cafe catered for a large party at short notice. The platter for children was really good with a wide range of food for my fiends little daughter. Service was very attentive and food was really tasty. We've been a few times and will be back soon. The perfect place for a bite to eat and a coffee in lovely surroundings!

The food, decor and quality of service are excellent. We've been here a few times and always enjoyed what we had. The menu can sometimes be a bit limited if your a vegetarian or have kids. Not a place you would typically take small kids anyway. The only reason we don't give it a full 5 stars is because of the access. It's in the grounds of a castle and the track from the main road needs to be widened. You currently have the daft situation where it's single track but there's warning signs to not go off the track so if two cars meet someone has to reverse all the way back. Not great when multiple cars and coaches are coming and going.

The actual space is very attractive but the prices are a bit steep. There was only one other table of people in while we were there and so it lacked atmosphere. Our tea arrived quickly but the cakes sat on the counter for 5 mins while the staff sorted out the coming weeks rota!!! Charging to walk round gardens in winter is also a joke.
