A hidden gem, tucked away up a side street. The staff are great and hospitable.. They have a wide selection of whisky and gins to suit all. Check out their Web page for up dates on gigs and functions.. Very helpful if your planning ahead... Food is great, they serve coffee/teas an alternative to the usual run of the mill high street shops...

Fairly expensive, but it's worth every penny; the food is absolutely amazing. From the soft, sweet, soda bread to the delicate beetroot-cured salmon with horseradish, to the sticky braised beef (I'm sure there was some lavender in there), to the gingerbread cheesecake with honeycomb and chantilly cream - everything was cooked to perfection. I'm not the only one who thinks so - the place was packed on a Saturday night. Would be a great place for a romantic meal for two, but only on a weekday night.

Second time going. The first time it was when they had only recently opened so were still getting set up. They've improved greatly. The food is well cooked and all locally sourced. There's also a great beer and whisky selection. Staff are really friendly and pleasant to speak to.

Great pub, large selection of whiskies, very good food. Excellent staff.

A great place for a convivial get together. Good selection of bar bites. Warm welcome from convivial staff. Recommended.
