Had a dim sum lunch at this restaurant while visiting Dublin. A small Chinese restaurant with traditional sitting style. Quite busy during lunch time and recommended to reserve for a table for a meal. Good variety of dim sum dishes but slightly on the pricey side.
First time I dined at Good World and it was very enjoyable. My partner and I went for dim sum and very much enjoyed the steamed bun, prawn dumplings, Chinese New year cake, pork ribs and egg tarts. Apologies for the dishes that are missing from the pictures! The food was delicious and we will definitely be back egg tarts were a particular favourite. The only drawback was the cleanliness of the area we were eating in. The bottom and sides of the chairs were a bit sticky but other than that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
Dim sum here is pretty authentic, should ask for their chilli oil. Fried rice is really good as well. Have been coming here quite often when I lived in dublinRecommended dishesDim Sum Selection
Only Panda in Dublin. Ok, it is a very large toy panda at the window table. We were asked if we had booked, but we had not. Luckily for us, the window table was free and we were able to sit with the very large toy panda. The biggest that I have ever seen. More importantly, the service was very prompt and we were able to order dim sum and ho fun, which are may favourites. The mixed meat dumplings sui mai were the largest that I have eaten, the prawn cheung fun was filled with very large prawns. I would recommend going after the busy lunch period but with friends, so that you can try more dishes. Book first to avoid disappointment, and if there are only only three of you, try the panda table by the window.
After 2 years in Dublin, we agreed with my partner that this is the best Asian restaurant we went to in Ireland. We were invited by close friends of ours following recommendations and wow, such an amazing surprise! 1. The food is so good 2. The pictures will speak for themselves, but the food looks amazing too! 3. The staff was really nice to accommodate some exceptional birthday cakes, and overall very nice with the customers Bottom line : a great experience per itself that we will very highly recommend around us.
I've been going here on and off since childhood and it remains a stalwart for traditional Cantonese Hong Kong dim sum. They also have the closest if not genuine xiao long bao soup dumplings that WON'T cost you ridiculous prices elsewhere in Dublin. The service is good, though perhaps a bit understaffed, and while the space and decor is a nostalgia trip for me, I do recognise it's very dated and relatively small.
This was the most authentic Hong Kong Dimsum we ever had at Dublin. Averagely €26 per person and we are super full! There dimsum range from €5.50 to €7.00 per dish. I would definitely recommend ordering their steamed sponge cake, steamed meat soup bun & mixed meat dumpling as they were my favourites. They are very generous with the meat & I would rate 100/ 100! Good service as well :
Great service and authentic Chinese food. Everything was delicious and reminds me of the dim sum you can get in restaurants in Hong Kong. 100% recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to eat some authentic dim sum!
Great place for nice food. Not the best tasting in the world but good for Dublin and Europe in general. The food is a bit pricey, so expect ~€20/pax for a nice full meal. Would recommend the xiao long bao. You can pretty much get the typical dim sum and main dishes here.
After two years living in China I was really craving good dim sum and Good World did not disappoint! Everything was excellent and the flavors were exactly the same as in China. I specially loved the char siu pork buns, the prawn cheung fun and the soup dumplings!! It was also very reasonably priced which is hard to find in Dublin these days I will for sure come back very soon to try the rest of the dishes. 10/10 would recommend!!!!!
