Lovely gallery that is much bigger on the inside than it appears. Many excellent works including originals and ltd editions. Lovely staff. Well worth a visit if you are an art lover. Also massive selection of art ceramics.nThere is currently a Nic Collins ceramics showntaking place with some lovely wood fired pieces.
An exceptional gallery with exceptional items for sale. Wonderful, passionate and knowledgeable staff who are exceptionally welcoming, helpful and friendly. They also have a fabulous selection of ceramics by some very talented makers. There is a smaller dedicated shop alongside the main gallery for the ceramics. These photos are from a recent exhibition of Nic Collins wood fired work. It's was an outstanding exhibition.
What an amazing gallery. A great range of work from renowned artists. Good exhibitions and an opportunity to meet the artist. Friendly staff and worth a visit if you are in the area.
What an amazing gallery. Full of beautiful artwork both pictures and sculpture. The picture I had arranged to see was ready for me and staff gave me lots of time to look at it and decide, but I loved it as soon as I saw it. No pressure. Very knowledgeable, friendly staff. I had great advice on framing and protective glass. The picture was skillfully framed and sent promptly. It arrived wrapped very securely & carefully to protect it.nThank you I love my picture, beautifully framed too. I will treasure it. I shall be back!!
Whether you are visiting Rutland or resident, a visit to the Goldmark Gallery is an incredible experience... even if you're not into art. With a huge variety of pieces on display there's something for everyone, paintings, sculptures, drawings & more.nnBeyond the art itself is the building which just comes alive with staff busily preparing for that next exbibition and they're very happy to stop & chat, to explain what's really going on & give you vital background to the works on display. Although just a small building on the face of it, there are several rooms to explore so visitors feel as though they're always discovering something new.nnPrices are diverse so you can purchase artworks from just a few pounds to tens of thousands and there are also books & prints. Mike and his team make everyone feel extremely welcome and there's no pretentiousness and no pressure to buy. They'll even lay on coffee and a bite to eat. There are regular art and music events so keep an eye on their website. There's no admission charge either.
