I have had an unpleasant experience with this pharmacy. A member staff has been quite rude and made me feel awkward every time I have visited. Even though this is the closest pharmacy to my house, I would rather walk a longer distance to feel more comfortable when picking up medicine/ prescriptions.

Our local pharmacy - always really friendly and helpful and we have been there a lot with winter bugs and children!. Myself and my partner also got our booster jabs here before Christmas after thinking we would have to wait until the new year with our official appointments. A really great local service - huge thank you to Gordon and all the staff!

I booked to go in for a winter flu jab together with my sister, and the staff were extremely rude and unfriendly. They had no clue about our ages and we had told them our ages when we called to reserve our slot. It’s not the first time I have been treated rudely in this pharmacy. Their sister pharmacy, LE Hartley, in trinity, on the other hand, are much more polite, on the ball and respectful. I will only go there from now on and not waste my time and energy and money at Goldenacre on Montague Terrace.

Just about every single time I collect my prescriptions here there is a problem with something. This is usually pinned on the doctors, which may be the case, but I’m not convinced. Additionally, most of the staff are helpful, but there are a couple, especially one older woman, a manager I presume, who is unprofessional, especially rude, and arrogant. If problems persist I will be choosing to use a different pharmacy.

Unfortunately not a great experience. The staff were pretty rude and unhelpful and I left empty handed and feeling defeated and judged. I usually use the sister pharmacy in Trinity as they are really nice and helpful there. I will not be returning to the Goldenacre branch any time soon.

Fantastic pharmacy that is always very well staffed, efficiently run, and cheerfully helpful.

Fantastic place! I think it is important to support local business and I have used this pharmacy for 2 years now for regular medication on repeat prescription. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone and I am always treated with the utmost respect. All of the staff I have come in to contact with display the highest standards of professionalism.

I have a spinal cord injury called Cauda Equina Syndrome. Part of the nerve damage includes the inability to urinate, meaning that I have to self-catheterize intermittently. The problem is that this can on occasion result in Urinary Tract Infections. I picked up a UTI and was prescribed antibiotics which I collected. But the pharmacist who handed them to me spoke to me with an extremely judgemental tone of voice, and disgusted look. I'm guessing she assumed the UTI was sexually transmitted. It wasn't, but even if it was, her job doesn't involve passing moral judgement. She was an older pharmacist and thus one assumes experienced but really unprofessional in her conduct. Very disappointing.
