Golden Sands Holiday Park is very much a family owned and run caravan and chalet park located on the coast at Withernsea in East Yorkshire.

Story

Golden Sands Holiday Park is a family owned and run park situated towards the south end of Withernsea, East Yorkshire, on the road to Holmpton. The Park extends to approximately 36 acres and straddles the road leading south to Spurn Point. It is a fifteen minutes walk into the centre of Withernsea or you can catch the local bus at the entrance to the park, which runs to and from the centre hourly. Golden Sands Holiday Park is set in an ideal location to explore the coastal countryside and the nearby towns and villages.

The park boasts a large number of facilities including a brand new public house called The Duck and Rabbit, shop, launderette and play area.

The recently completed south side development of the park comprises of 46 luxury holiday home plots. The Duck and Rabbit, a newly built public house is now open and boasts the best live entertainment in this area.

We have a caravan on this site and find it quite, nice, and relaxing. I is not a hotel just a camp site, but it just what we want Nearby activities: There is a swimming pool etc nearby as well as plenty of amusement parks Walkability: On the main road that leads to the site is a golf club. Never been in but it looks a really nice place from the road anyway.
Loverly chalet park just beside the coast road with a clubhouse/bar and a big play area for the children. The park looks to be in a very maintained condition and looks very clean and tidy . The clubhouse does not do food but most town takeaways do deliver . Only 5 minutes drive into Withernsea and direct access to the beach. Withernsea is a small seaside town with most things you would need for your holiday. The beach itself is excellent for the family.
Nice little site.chalet 317 Which we stayed in, booked privately, was beautiful and very spacious, even with 3 kids and a dog. Beach in walking distance and walking distance to town centre. Found 2 things odd. You can't pay by card in the clubhouse and kids aren't allowed in the side where acts perform. They are instead allowed in a room to the side with a serving hatch to the bar.
Lovely peaceful holiday park,nice comfy chalets or caravans, a good club on site,with local seaside 10-minute walk away,with plenty of shops and good arcade for the children,across from the beach.
Love this place, will be buying one of the chalets at some point.
Nice and quiet place 15mins walk from main seafront. Club on site good for weekends. Rabbits running around Everywere cool if u like them. Good site for dogs aslong as kept on a lead

A nice site for the dogs and rabbits, not so good for people though. The cabins are smaller that a static caravans, though are nice and tidy. We left early from our breakaway at the coast. Climbing over each other in the tiniest of bathroom to use the toilet or shower. The master bedroom... Not enough room to swing a leaf insect never mind the cat. But have stated it was unsuitable for Humans, but idea for dogs, most cabin/shed had a dog or two. The rabbits were a novelty, who dig holes allover and live under the sheds, lean-to's and cabins you can hear the scattering about under the floors, which in our case made our three furbabies unsettled and tended to growl and bark . The beach is in walking distance though the housing estate. Our three love every moment, even if we didn't.
Awful week at Deb's caravan. C8. Not clean enough. Insufficient lighting. Fridge not clean. Light bulb missing. Freezer had de-frosted then re-frozen. A red item had leaked so re-frozen ice was red. Part-bag rice left in freezer. Unable to read after 3.45pm. Poorly equipped. Cold. Dogs tolerated, not welcome.
