Really lovely pub. Bar staff can't do enough for you so helpful and friendly. It on of them pubs what you call a proper pub.
The barmaid loves to give short measure on pouring real ales and then gets grumpy when asked to top up the pint
Beer very good pint a good mix of all agegroups had a pint or two and a good laugh
The Golden Lion Inn is at the top of High Street, which is a pedestrian walkway because the narrow street is now closed to traffic.
It was excellent, staff very friendly.
