This place is beautiful. We had never owned a caravan and decided to look into buying one. We went to quite a few sites before coming to Golden Leas. We first met Emma who answered the million questions we had. Emma even answered messages when she wasn’t working, just to reassure us and explain everything in detail. Buying a static was a big thing for us and Emma made it enjoyable and exciting instead of scary. Since we’ve been on the site we have been made to feel so welcome by staff and other owners. We now spend as much time as we can here, we love it.
I don't usually leave reviews..... I often mean to do it but I often find that I don't 'get round' to doing the review. But I couldn't not do one for here. This is my first ever caravan and the customer service has been spot on! Richie has been there every step of the way and has been so supportive and found the perfect caravan for me. The site is everything I wanted, close enough to walk to the beach and the site is lovely and quiet. Super dog friendly which was such an important part for me! I didn't want to come home and can't wait to get back to my Caravan at the weekend Thank you Golden Leas, I'm looking forward to making many memories here.
I brought my caravan here in April and it's changed my life. It is so relaxing, beautiful surroundings and also lots to do if you want to. The swimming pool has adult only sessions, people are so friendly, it's our home from home happy place. If you are thinking about buying a caravan on the Isle of Sheppey, this is the place.
Golden Leas is our family "Happy Place"! It's our little escape, to enjoy the beautiful views of the sea and surrounding farm lands, to be amongst friends and relax. We've recently upgraded our caravan as we want to enjoy the facilities throughout the seasons. The sales team and after sales support have been superb. The facilities, pool, club house and gym are probably the best on the Island! Our family have been on site for over 40 years, and we really wouldn't want our caravan to be anywhere else!
Having come from another park whereas I wasn't treated well at all. I found myself here and I really can't believe the difference. It truly does feel like a holiday when you arrive, with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Walking the dogs everybody waves and says hello like they know you and make you feel welcome. The staff are always happy to help and have been prompt in making my holiday home perfect. I was even shocked to have a beautiful hamper filled with wonderful gifts inside. This park is a cut above the rest on so many levels. I have been looked after above and beyond my expectations and been respected and cared for like part of the golden leas family. The professionalism from all the stuff is second to none. Always putting us first, and taking good care of the park so it is clean and well looked after with great entertainment and smiley faces all round. If you want the best then look no further.
Golden Leas is a brilliant site on the Kent coast. It's perfect for a family wanting to buy their own holiday home on a site exclusive to home owners and their families. The site is just right in terms of size to give it a community feel, there's great facilities including a nice outdoor heated pool, gym, bar and playground. However, the best thing about Golden Leas is the staff. Everyone we spoke to on our visit was happy and really polite, especially Richie who I can honestly say is one of the best sales people i've met in a long time...not pushy and clearly wants the best for the customer as well as the site and current home owners.
We were looked at Golden Leas with a view to buying a caravan. Richie and Kieran were both really helpful and showed us around the site and a few suitable static caravans. They welcomed the many questions we had and Richie was so quick to answer his phone one suspects it must be glued to his hand! The park itself has recently been taken over by a company Lovat Parks and from what we could gather has undergone a major upgrade in the past couple of years. The park is owners only and there is no subletting allowed. We visited the site on three occasions and found this approach creates a very friendly atmosphere with many owners telling us how happy they were on the park and seemed proud to tell us of the recent improvements. There are solar panels on the club house and they have their own garden where plants are grown to place around the park. This self sufficient model is not only environmentally friendly but I suspect will serve to keep pitch fees at a reasonable level in the future. We absolutely loved Golden Leas and if it hadn’t been for personal issues we would have definitely bought a static caravan here. In fact we had a deposit on a van when we had to pull out. Richie was really understanding and helpful. We would highly recommend you viewing Golden Leas. Even if you have viewed it in the past and it wasn’t for you, the upgrades may well prove attractive. With a restaurant, bar, entertainment bar, heated outdoor pools, gym and plenty of activities for the kids, what’s not to like? The pitch fees are also very reasonable for the facilities that you get and you would find it hard to find a cheaper pint on the Isle of Sheppey. I purchased my caravan from Richie, as did my partner and my friend. I spoke to Richie explaining what I was looking for in my new van, and true to his word he found me my perfect caravan. The service and hospitality I have received has been second to none. His commitment to myself, partner and friend has been ongoing on still is, even after our purchases. The staff here are amazing. The owners are all very friendly and the welcome pack was outstanding.
When we tell people that we have a Caravan on The Isle of Sheppey they ask "where's that and Why go that far from Cambridge". For Michael, Bluebell dog and I it is our home from home. When we were looking for a Caravan we looked in all locations but finally found the ideal park: Golden Leas. There are various reasons why we chose this park. It is an owners only park which means you know who's who so it is a safer environment for the children especially as all visitors and tradesmen have to sign in at the office before being allowed on park. The facilities are great for Toddlers to Teenagers and of course us older folk. Our Grandchildren love spending time with their parents at our Caravan. At the time of writing this review a lot of the kids areas are being updated to include more for kids of all ages. There is the Village Green where all kinds of events are held for the residents of all ages . Live Music and Social events. The Swimming pool always has a lifeguard on duty . The is a toddler pool as well as big pool. Surrounding the Pool is a grass area with sun loungers and a kiosk serving various items during the season. The pool also has dedicated Adult time each day for time out from the kids. The Club managed by Jake and his team of friendly staff, where there is nightly entertainment. The Park Manager Jo if often seen on the park involved in all kinds of things and always stops to ask how you are. Even the Park owner when visiting the Park always has a friendly handshake. The best thing about the Park is #The Golden Leas Family Everyone is so kind and friendly checking on each other to ensure all is ok especially keeping an eye out for the older generation. Golden Leas has been awarded The No 1 friendliest Caravan Park on the island for the last 3 years. To sum up we would recommend this Park to anyone of any age!
Goldenleas holiday caravan site has a great friendly atmosphere all the staff have a smile and will help you with anything you need. The site is well maintained and clean . Two outdoor pools heated ,clubhouse and best bacon and sausage buns in the bistro. The site is family orientated so you are allowed dogs and there is a field where they can play and exercise. They also a have a dog walk path . I would recommend Goldenleas as the best site on the island
