Quite possibly the worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had. The egg fried rice was hard with barely any egg in it, and a peanut was barely waved in the direction of the slimy gelatinous satay sauce. The prawn crackers were like eating greasy fresh air, and the mini ribs were so tough I'll be picking them out of my teeth for weeks. Luckily the beansprouts were tasty and the service was good, but apart from that, it's a nil points.
Singapore chow main was ridiculously spicy, mini spring rolls had no idea what meat In them tasted disgusting, salt and chilli spare ribs had 4 ribs in them with no meat on them at all what a waste of £27
It's the 2nd night I've had this takeaway for dinner and the food was absolutely SUPERB! I loved every bit. Could not fault it in anyway, 5 STAR.nWill definitely order again the next time I'm visiting the area, Thank you.
Ordered Via just eat - food was delivered on time, which is probably the only plus.nFood received was a mixture of hot and cold, soup was very hot, and tasted okay. Crispy chicken was soggy, and the chicken was so tough I couldn't get my fork through it let alone my teeth.. egg fried rice was a large brick of glue, had to chip away at it and a mouthfull of it was unpleasant.. not sure what's gone wrong because when we've ordered before there hasn't been this many issues? The prawn crackers were all chewy and stale tasting and the chips were soggy. I'm really not sure what's happened because we definitely haven't had anything like this before from them.. some things on the menu are okay, I think the chicken balls were fine according to a family member? Honestly so disappointed in the meal today, really off-putting and may lead to us looking for another place to get our takeaways..
I normally order through Just East and tbh that's how I found them. We've tried most Chinese's now having lived nearly a year in the area but this is the best one is Swadlincote and Woodville. Even better than the last town we lived in. I cannot fault the food. I've collected from the shop and they're always friendly and I've had it delivered 100% recommend. The egg fried rice, hot and sour soup AND fried Won Tons are the best I've ever had!!!
