Not recommended Ordered shredded duck chowmein with no veg And chicken balls in batter with curry sauce instead of sweet and sour sauce And guess what I got? Chow mein with veg and sweet and sour sauce. They never read the notes on checkout And when you call them they say its the customers fault and not theirs.and would not come and pick the order back up. BRING BACK THE OLD MANAGER They offered 10% of my next order when I explained that I do not eat vegetables as they make me ill Won't be ordering again from them
First time using this takeaway as my local in harthill was shut . Have to say food was decent quality and good portions and solid value for money . Hmm tough choice now where to go next time I want a Chinese takeaway . Thx GB
DO NOT RECCOMEND - I ordered chicken satay and salt and pepper chips. the chips were more salt than anything and the chicken satay is completely different! satay sauce is absolutely not satay sauce. will not be back, wish management was never changed.
Dreadful customer service via Just Eat. Waited over an hour and was then told it would be another 45 minutes. Refused to let us cancel. 2 hours and 30 minutes later we called to complain, again. Asked for the order to be cancelled and a refund given. Staff were rude, refused and put the phone down. Called again and same thing- we also heard them taking the piss about our complaint as they chatted with the phone off the hook. Three and a half hours later and still no food. Just Eat eventually agreed to refund us direct. They don't deserve your order or money. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
Just heard it's new owners, thought the actual food was tasty but really mean with the sauce, would have to provide ample sauce in order for me to order from Golden Bowl again

I ordered chicken fried rice to take away. The meal itself was lovely but wasn't that warm when I got it home. I had went into the shop to order it, jumped straight into the car and was home in less than 3 minutes. I still had to stick it in microwave to heat it up when it should have still been hot. This isn't the first time it's happened. I am puzzled as to why it's not still hot. Unless they're adding refrigerated chicken to the fried rice when it's cooked and not giving it time to heat properly? C'mon guys make sure it's hot as the meal itself was delicious.
Ordered lemon chicken with sweet n sour sauce. Chicken was so chewy, it looked re cooked, and the batter on it was brick hard, not tasty at all.
Ordered from here for the first time last night. Had to ring back as some of the food was undercooked. They were very helpful and bought a replacement meal. Unfortunately it was undercooked too! I understand that the restaurant is under new management but you cannot fail with food safety. I won't be putting my family at risk, so I won't be ordering from here again.
Horrendous customer service waited just under 2 hours for delivery for my order to be wrong! When I phoned to complain was told I had to pay for there error and another delivery charge absolutely disgusting! And the rest of our order to go cold and the woman on the phone to say not my problem if it's cold! The delivery driver then delivered correct items and ask for wrong items so he can re-use absolutely disgusting!!!
