Even though it's got good quality clothing and all at a reasonable price . Twice it has happened to us now, that at the till we have had to question the amount on the receipt. First time ⏲ they had double clicked an item, second time the till was showing a item 20 pounds more than it should have been. Always check your receipts.
Has everything you need to challenge the great outdoors, for a great price! Membership for £5 is a must as you'll save a significant amount, though I belive non member prices are inflated compared to other outlets. Store is a good size with everything on display. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable in their fields. Recently refurbished store, with customer toilets.
Visited Go Outdoors Blackburn for various items of clothing on many occasions and always had excellent service. On our latest visit for boots and socks we received great service from Norman who was very knowledgeable and helpful with our purchases.
WARNING! THIS SHOP HAS VERY DECEPTIVE LABELS! In the attached photo, notice that the price in bold is what you might consider to be, well, the price… However, this is the member’s price, the “retail” price is shown in small print next to it. Exactly double the cost!nnDon’t be caught out at the till from this, check how much you’re paying at the counter! I almost had a heart attack after I accidentally overpaid, thankfully they could refund it and you can just buy a £5 annual membership to get the huge discount.nnDon’t forget to unsubscribe from the membership when you leave the shop! This is how they get you, stay safe shoppers! Never again.
Wellwhat can I say, I haven't been hear for approx 12months. I had a go shop voucher for £100 I checked there website which stated they accepted these vouchers. So off I set in anticipation of treating myself to a new anorak for walking my dog. after a 46 mile drive I thought just check. Ho no we have a new system which won't allow us to take vouchers at the moment. No sorry or any from of apology. Well I thought seen as I have come so far I will look for a coat anyway. What a waste of time, very poor choice of clothing all round. The whole store has declined sooo much since I was last there. We used to be regular visitors and allways spent money because of the fantastic range of goods there. I won't be returning any more. And could not recommend this place to anyone. So sad
