When you ring up, the people in the call centre are friendly and helpful with sorting out where you need to go, and they’re also very patient when talking to you which was helpful to me as I take a while to figure out what I need to say sometimes. The taxi drivers are polite and talkative when picking me up and always double check that they’ve taken me to the right place, and they always say goodbye: A lot of the time I also use the app which is really easy to understand and figure out how to use. I would recommend go green out of all the taxi companies in didcot and surrounding areas, in my experience they’re the most reliable and trustworthy around :
Ordered a taxi with over 1 hour notice. No show at agreed time. Called the center was informed arrival time was another 25 mins. Very unreliable. Consequences for my connections. This company should not have accepted the job if they could not honour the commitment. In any event, they should have informed me if there was an issue and couldn’t meet at the agreed time. Poor customer service.
Really terrible business, just save your money and book with *literally* any other taxi company. Firstly they charged £28 for a 10 minute journey in the middle of a weekday, so not even peak hours. Secondly I booked a cab and was told on the phone that my taxi would be 2 minutes. Cut to 30 minutes later, still waiting, so I call back asking if everything is OK and I'm told that they input my request wrong and the next available taxi wouldn't be there for at least another half hour. Called a few other local companies seeing if they could send anyone sooner and every single one warned me not to book with go green in future and that they charge nearly double the price and are notorious for lying to customers about wait times The drivers themselves seem very nice, but the organisation of the business is just a joke
Don’t ever try to pre-book with them. I booked a taxi for a specific time, it was running very late. Multiple phone calls and the audacity to straight up lie to me that the driver is on the way! Taxi didn’t show up so I had to ask neighbours to give me a lift so I don’t miss my train/flight. 30 min late the poor driver arrives and informs my boyfriend he was only sent here 5 minutes ago. What’s even the point?!?!
I used to always use GoGreen, they were fast and reliable. I didn’t mind that they were slightly overpriced as the taxi drivers were efficient. However, I got a taxi today and they couldn’t find my local doctors surgery and the taxi driver was too busy trying to figuring out their maps. They got the location wrong and kept asking me ‘if this was it?’ They then went the complete wrong direction. I then had to get out the car and walk, as I was going to be late. I called GoGreen and they said they would speak to the Taxi driver but no refund was offered. I paid the full amount to the doctors surgery despite having to walk 5 minutes to it after getting out of the taxi. Absolutely disgusted, I will not be using them again after being a loyal customer for 2 years.
Horrendous service. Booked a taxi to the airport initially. Pick up on time but car was filthy dirty. When I arrived at Heathrow after a 17 hour flight, I booked another taxi to get home but accidentally booked it the wrong way around. Called up straight away and they said they had someone in Wembley who was only 20-25mins away. I agreed to wait. Got a call 15 mins later saying the traffic is bad and it will likely be another 45 mins. I asked if I could cancel as I was too tired to wait that long after such a long flight and a 24 hour delay. They said if I was to cancel they will charge £97!!!! I asked them to be reasonable and apologised for the error in my initial booking explaining I was tired and made a mistake. They had no intention to charge any less. I asked how they calculated that charge and was told the driver was on his way and had already driven all that way to get to me. 1 the driver was in Wembley 14 miles away and 2 they hadn’t even made it to me yet! They then agreed to charge £50 instead and I said fine as I just wanted to get home And told them i won’t be using them again and their response was that’s fine that’s your choice. No customer service at all and no understanding or empathy that I made a genuine mistake and they haven’t lost anything other than a 15 mins drive. Anyways, checked the app to see they had charged me £97 after all. Absolutely shocking, disgusting and pointless company. Reading the other reviews i can’t believe I even used them at all.
On the 7/09/22 I took a taxi from Tesco to Ladygrove park school I was charged £15.90 when I question this to the driver, apparently it’s waiting time? The driver never rang the bell or called the phone, so I had no idea he was waiting outside? I rang the office to complain. I spoke to this woman who called her self a manager. She was so rude and argumentative like it was my fault completely normal to pay that price! At the time, I didn’t write any review, as it’s not in my nature to ruin anybody’s business and just let it go. Today I ran for Taxi I got told that I must pay upfront which was very unusual? I asked the driver is this normal having to pay upfront the driver applied, only if the office have doubt about you? this company is very corrupted and creates lies about customers especially if you complain about the service. I definitely won’t be getting taxi from this company.
A reliable service and have been focused upon sustainability for many years, not just as a recent add-on. Website can be a bit flaky around payment. Staff are skilled and they rotate some drivers though office roles which means glitches are easily resolved.
More often than not they arrive late. The majority of the drivers are pleasant, but there has been the odd one who isn't. Today's journey was rather unpleasant. I'm hoping the stains on the seats were dried mud and not something else extremely unpleasant! Considering they have hybrid cars, they are incredibly expensive for local journeys.
