Brilliant place. The Ortiz sardines with sourdough are fabulous. As is the rest of the menu. It's a million miles from just sardines on toast! Staff and service are excellent - Go and support them in these difficult days, you'll become a regular.

A nice little cafe, feels welcoming and cosy inside. Staff nice and friendly and following covid procedures. I just feel like the food is a tad overpriced for what you get, and there's no kids menu either. The bacon sandwiches we had were lovely though. And I don't know what brown sauce they use, but it was absolutely gorgeous!

Very friendly staff, excellent quality food. If you are visiting the Lake District then eating here is a must. Would highly recommend the spiced blueberry dark chocolate cake for dessert.
Beautiful little find. All bread is homemade and sooooo fresh. Reasonable prices and super friendly staff. Must go place when in Kendal - you will not regret it !
