It's my first time coming here as part of a week long expedition that I'm part of. I've never been to Denbigh Gliding Club but so far I absolutely love the place. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the scenery of the Welsh countryside is breathtakingly beautiful. The clubhouse offers food and drinks with a small charge that's not too much. I would very highly recommend this amazing club to anyone interested in Gliding.
Lovely site to fly from, the club works efficiently and there is plenty of high quality equipment for gliding.
Well I've given them 2 stars which I feel is generous. I had a friend visiting and he had held a pri are pilots licence. As it was his birthday I thought, what better than to book him in for a flight in either a prop plane or one of the gliders. I visited their site twice. 1st visit planes+ gliders out on the airfield+ outside the hangers.... but nobody to be found. On 2nd visit few days later , all shut up and secure. No planes. No gliders. No people. Totally dead. Despite this I sent them an email outlining my plan to book. Did they reply. No!
Very interesting.very friendly was shown around and got lots of info.would like to go back an have flight in a glider.
Great place to fly, best place for wave this side of the Scottish border. Chris is a great guy to fly with as well.
Only passing as grandson was having a drive with drive ten , but busy on gliding as it's a beautiful day
Nice place to stay in my motorhome. Great to watch the gliders and go for a walk in the woods. Also the bus stops right outside to take us into Denbigh
Great expedition site, friendly club. Chris manages it very well.
This very friendly club is well worth a visit drinks are available in the club house.
