Top place for walkies with or without pooch. Has amazing various trails some with easy access in which you could push child's buggy etc. It's a magical forest to explore....

Even with all of the mountain visitors further up the road, this place is big enough that you can easily walk without bumping into anyone else. If you're looking for a fun forest walk that is easily accessible, here is the place.

There are a number of car parks, and the price is reasonable (£2 at time of writing). There are plenty of marked paths, and hundreds of opportunities to leave the beaten path for something a little more adventurous!

Had a great time there! The trails were good and scenic! Will return for more walks. Probably require a full day or two to cover the whole area.

A brilliant place to stay. Very friendly site staff. Ideal for walks from the site and very handy for trips to Cairngorm.

We love this place. Great walks and bike rides. Great cafés. Friendly folk around. Wild camping or camp sites, something for everyone.
