Good station with good amenities. Perfectly located for local hotels
The old station buildings remain at Aviemore on both sides of the platforms. It is worth walking up and down either side to see the impressive architecture. I visited in March the sun was bright there were one or two people waiting. Some of the station buildings have other businesses in them. Aviemore Station is very central and trains are pretty frequent north and south.
Great place to have a walk around while up on a mini adventure through the highlands on a train
Great station staff are friendly and it's well maintained, can't complain at all, also there is a steam service that runs from here which you can ask about at a separate office on platform 2.nI had lots of photos but they magically disappeared, nEdit: I found the photos.
