Story

Glebe house vintage inspiration comes from William Morris saying " have nothing in your home that is neither beautiful or useful" We are a homely blend of old and new, beautifully painted vintage furniture adorned with a collection of luxurious and rustic contemporary pieces, sitting cozily together in our unique little shop housed in what was formerly the Gatekeepers Lodge to a grand seafront house. The building is charm and character personified and when people first come in they are amazed by what they see. It certainly has the wow factor. The business is driven by passion evolving from us painting furniture in the garden and then becoming a market stall and finally seeing this beautiful little building up to let in our little village which then became a must have. It seemed like fate really was a driving force. We have a delightful courtyard garden along with a coffee machine so that customers can relax and enjoy the space while they're choosing what colour paint to buy. Glebe House Vintage enjoys being an inspiration to people and hopefully they can take and use some of our ideas in their own homes. We are loving the creativity that is around and the wonderful thing is there are no boundaries, young and old, it seems everyone is at it. Long may it last
