The quality and the variety of food were good but nothing was outstanding. We do not feel this worth £78pp for the buffet. The sushi bar was the best. The ‘roast’ bar selection was disappointing with over cooked meat. The Italian and Asian bar selections were good. Dessert selection were great for the sweet tooth. Overall, we’ve had a great time. The place and the service were superb.
I had the wonderful buffet here last Friday and is already planning to go there again soon. One of the best buffets in London. I enjoyed their sushi, sashimi, prawn salad, lobsters, as well as the cheese and salad and desserts very much. Monday-Thursday, it is £61 pp and £78 pp for Friday-Sunday. The food was fresh and the service was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Parking on site in available, although it is quite far to get to from central London. Well worth the journey though.
Chefs at the individual stations were fantastic, I was advised on what pasta sauce I might like best and were very polite. Delicious food and appreciated the hot plates! Dessert station was lovely but the chocolate fountain wasn't to my tastes as it was dark chocolate. Be aware that this is a very costly experience with gratuity added to your bill. Breakfast for guests staying was delightful with hot options, cold options, pastries while staff were very attentive.
Wow what an excellent experience! We loved everything we tried! The service was really very good, attentive & friendly! Sushi was amazing, curry superb! We tried so much! Puddings we’re all fabulous but would recommend the matcha tea desert & the creme brûlée! Such a beautiful place with stunning grounds - would highly recommend a visit!
The UK don't really do high-end buffets, which is maybe why Brits who discover them in Vegas are so dazzled by the concept. But The Glasshouse is making a worthy effort at changing that. The variety of food on offer isn't Caesars Palace or Wynn levels of decadence, but it's nonetheless broad and everything is good quality. The sushi station is an out-and-out winner, as are the Indian dishes and the gyoza on the Asian station. The carvery also got high marks from our group. The desserts don't disappoint either - pavlova, cheesecake, posset, ice cream... and the ever-popular chocolate fountain. It's more food than anyone could ever hope to eat, but this is priced for "special occasion" rather than "good value" so you'll find yourself going back for more plates than is probably wise... but isn't that half the fun of these things? Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids there on a Saturday night, patiently waiting to get permission to try the chocolate fountain. Parking: Plenty of parking given this is a very large Country Manor-style hotel, used to staging large weddings.
We had an amazing time as we came for the 1st time to celebrate my dad’s 60th, we had 2 very pleasant waiters. One was called Diane a Romanian male but I don’t think I’ve spelt his name correctly! and Ella :We all enjoyed our food and drinks and can’t wait to return!! Parking: Lots of parking spaces available and just a short walk from the glasshouse
Fabulous experience with great food and excellent service. The food selection was superb - loved the sashimi and the hot fish options lobster, tuna, salmon. Hope to come again when we can afford it and aren’t trying to watch our weight! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Wellington, pizza and pasta options, vegan cheeses, lots of veggies and salads, lots of desserts
Really helpful, accommodating and attentive service. Really appreciated it. Lots of good food options, great food. Looked after us on our anniversary. Coffee was nice but can be even better I’m sure. Definitely would recommend and looking forward to coming back soon. Thanks to all.Food: 5/5
Wow what can I say amazing buffet at The Grove. All the food was delicately presented and tasted out of this world. The oysters where sautéed to perfection. The live pasta station made me a wonder spaghetti and pesto dish, did ask for burnt garlic on dish. The salad was fresh and wonderful to eat and a good way to start as was the live sushi station making fresh rolls. The desert was epic so many wonderful little delicacies made and tasted beautiful. The staff where very attentive and informative with regards to the buffet. Asked if we had any allergies. Lovely cocktails where made, negroni was lovely as was the mocha martini mmmm. Had a fantastic birthday and food was lovely.
My recent visit to The Glasshouse was great. We went as part of the deal with the Everyman cinema. Overall we had a really enjoyable evening and while the food was good, it wasn't great. The sushi starter was the best on offer in my opinion. Would go again for a special occasion.
