Had a wonderful time here - the guy who owned the place came down and explained how everything worked, and they had such a nice variety on the menu of exotic meats to try. I did enjoy the non-alcoholic wine as well, though was disappointed that there was only one red on the menu. Food served in an exciting fashion on volcanic rock.

We had a fantastic experience at the Steakinn this Saturday . Our server Sam was awesome . One of the best we have had in a long time. He gave us several recommendations and we really enjoyed our food. Steak was awesome Peppercorn sauce was great . I loved the salad and chips presented on ceramic platter. We were looking for a different place to go to celebrate our anniversary and my 10 years of being cancer free. We made the right choice .We will go back soon .

Used the Groupon voucher for a meal for 2 which was great value.  the range of exotic meats is really good, probably had about 10 different exotic meats on offer, the range changes, so if you want a particular meat give them a call in advance.  there seemed to be only one waitress doing the bulk of the service, with a couple of other people doing bits and bobs. the service was excellent, the waitress is superb!  at full price the meal would have been quite expensive, but considering that you would probably have to travel into London to get a similar experience its justified.

The dinner was absolutely tasteless. Very disappointed. Had prawn salad and chicken wings for starters. Neither tasted fresh or had any real flavour to them. The main, my wife ordered the fajita and I ordered the butterfly wing. Again, the chicken had absolutely no taste whatsoever. Probably one of the worst food around. The restaurant looks nice however and has a nice concept of cooking on lava rock, but that novelty wore off very quick. Definitely wouldnt recommend

Had a really nice meal, at first wasn't sure by the decor in the restaurant and the concept of grilling  my own steak, so we went safe and ordered chicken and rib eye steak.  It was fantastic and good size portions of meat and sides, next time I would definitely try a more adventurous meat such as Buffalo, venison, ostrich etc.. Would definitely go back and recommend to everyone.  Also nice friendly staff who made the experience even better..

I loved the food here but I very much disliked the service I received.  On the menu I ordered the rodeo burger which sounds great: nice high quality beef with barbecue sauce and cheese BUT on the menu, it DOES NOT say it is served with salad or tomatos.  I don't like tomatoes and I had to complain 3 times.. *3* times! Just for someone to deal with my complaint and resolve the issue.  By time my issue was solved, everybody else was about to leave.  Terrible service in my opinion.  The food is great but don't expect them to cook the meat.  You have to cook it yourself on a hot volcanic rock which is not always hot enough to cook the meat you are having. The table was not set even though we booked the table.

This place has so much potential but staff have very little knowledge of steaks and accompanying sauces whilst being under staffed. I ordered the venison which actually tasted really nice but the accompanying peppercorn sauce was flavourless, when I told the waiter he said that's how peppercorn sauce is, clearly he hasn't had it anywhere else. Also the plates they use look like hospital plates so presentation is non existent.

My birthday celebration in my favorite restaurant was amazing. As usual the food was yummy. I came with my family members, and the staff made the occasion very enjoyable. The outlook of the restaurant was marvelous and interior was wonderful.  We had the best service and the hot rock concept a good experience for those who had the first time dinner here. Love to come back anytime. A must go place for anyone.

I had a lovely experience with all my office mates. We were little sceptical about trying it at the beginning as its was a new restaurant but we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Staff was cheerful and food was delicious. There were more than 15 different exotic options available on the availability list which accompanied the menu. Enjoyed our meats on the rock. Truly deserves the best rating :

Was extremely surprised and pleased to come across this joint in Watford. They have an amazing exotic steaks in their menu. Plus love their volcanic rock concept, which allows you to cook your steak the way you want it done.  The sides menu is also quite appetizing and adds to the mains. Will definitely be back for more.
