Wow, what a beautiful building! We did not go to university here, but the architecture is stunning.
I'm an outlander fan, so I had to see the exteriors where Claire, Brianna and Roger's scenes were shot. We didn't go inside due to time, but the Melville room is where Claire is dissed by the Harvard dean and where Franks memorial was held. Also, a few scenes were shot in the park area. Avoid the university cafe - it was abysmal.
Impressive building !!! The whole university is worth visiting!
The GUU Beer Bar is exactly what a student drinking place should be. Nothing fancy, just basic seating and cheap beer. I was amused by the signs commemorating various, probably ill-advised feats of consumption.
Very beautiful University. And worthwhile to visit its inner gardens and halls. It will remind you the Harry Potter world
Bar staff member female with dark hair in the Billiards hall became rude and aggressive when I politely pointed out that she wrongly served a customer before me, who had been kept waiting far less time than I had which was fairly blatant since I was the only customer at the bar until this point. Not very professional at all. Will not be back.
