Me and a group of pals went for our friends 21st birthday and got there after her. We got denied entry at the door for no reason despite being sober and not acting out of hand at all. When I asked the bouncer for a reason as to why we didn’t get allowed in he stated “I don’t need to give a reason.” Our pal who booked a booth and a couple bottles of vodka which we all chipped in for paid £250 and was told that since they opened a bottle and took 4 drinks out of they were only given £125 of their money back. I didn’t realise that 4 drinks out of a bottle of vodka was worth that much. Would not recommend this place as my first experience was so badly handled.
Absolutely horrible people. My friends and myself came on a night out for a hen do and went to queueon the guest list might I add we were told we were too drunk because we had a face paint on. Not allowed to even enter or pay anything. Just informed that we were too drunk. My friend spoke not drunk at all and was told that she wasn't allowed in with face paint. We asked why not, they said because of face paint. We were on the guest list, ready for a good night and told we couldn't get in because of a little glitter and colour on our face.. At the same time saw 2 girls leaving looking around 12/13 years old! Hardly fair at all! Horrible place definitely would not be going ever again and would give it zero stars if i could. Why? Because if a night club is being so selective and judgmental of someone before they've even set foot in the place then i dread to see what it would have been like on the inside..
Bouncers pulled down my jeans like an actual real life Creep, Wasted the night for me and my friends after paying £240 for a Booth. It’s absolutely disgusting that Kushion Condones this kind of behaviour, even after speaking to the Manager nothing was getting done, I will definitely never go back and support a business who conduct themselves so poorly. I recommend to anyone thinking of going to Kushion to just go to another Club as it’s not worth wasting you night on a place with such a bad reputation.
Absolute disgrace to the city nightlife, came back to visit Glasgow after a while being away. Drove up to the club pulled up & was immediately told that we not coming in for a rather not so well explained reason, smartly dressed, sober very sober but still wasn't let in! As an entrepreneur I wouldn't employ the bouncers if I owned the club, told a couple of friends & it seems to be a racial thing that happens to brothers of my colour often. Surely something is not being done well & change should take place
Very rude and overly aggressive bouncers... One red head bouncer who was extremely unreasonable ignorant and rude been going out for years and not experienced that. Also the well built bouncer with a beard raised his voice and was also very ignorant. I wouldn't normally do this but your bouncer can ruin nights out for a lot of people and it'll make people like me and my friends not come back. Very disappointed.
On Friday the 18th January, 2 friends and I tried to come into your club. I was driving so obviously wasn’t under the Influence and we were told by a member of your female door staff “not tonight”. We didn’t cause a fuss and just walked away as we understood that it was busy. Friday the 25th of January we attempted to get in to the club again with a group of 9 of us this time round including myself. The same female member of door staff that we spoke to last week told us that your club “isn’t for you people”. As a group of all black guys this is not only racist, it is disgusting!! The fact the bouncers were letting all other white members of the public in to the club shows that this was definitely a discriminatory act against us and it is totally unacceptable. It’s 2019 and there’s no need to be treating each other like that, all we wanted was just a good night in Glasgow since everyone was recommending your club and clearly it’s not meeting up the standards. We were refused to get in simply our race, we dressed properly, had not been drinking at all before we got there. One of the bouncers blatantly stated we were not welcome because we are Asian. That was the most shocking experience i have ever had and this is how some of the non well-educated local treat different races, purely lack of decency!
If your black and visiting Glasgow don't waste your time trying to get in here. I walked up and before even opening my mouth the bouncer said I wasn't allowed in... I was wearing black pants and a blue dress shirt. I asked why and he wouldn't give me a reason... I see several other people of color have had the same experience. I've been in Scotland for 2 weeks now and this is the first case of racism i've seen. Almost made it my entire vacation without an incident. Disgusting.
Absolutely disgusting place. Went for my friends hen night and arrived at kushion while on their guest list. Before half of us even got out of the taxi we were told we were too drunk. None of us at this point were drunk at all. Then my friend asked why we weren't getting In and they said because we had face paint on. We had a little coloured glitter on our eyes. That's it. The bouncers are simply abnoxious, uneducated apes. Would rather bath in a hot tub of horse urine than go back.
Amazing music, great atmosphere and very well decorated! I like that the bouncers are strict.. obviously a policy that works well as I've never witnessed an trouble in here, also in many clubs in Glasgow it is evident there are a lot of underage people who have use of someone else's ID, this is not the case in Kushion! Everyone attending Kushion is clean, well dressed & has made an effort! The only downside is the queue to get a drink can take a while, but this is because it's one of Glasgow's best nightclubs, so is understandably popular!
