It was a bit tricky to find the entrance but it was a great experience. You can have a nice birds eye view of the city. Plus, our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and the area. It's only 9.5 pounds around $13 but you get to be at the 2nd tallest structure in Glasgow and have an awesome city view as far as the mountain ranges. I recommend it for sure. Note that they are weather dependant so if it's raining or windy they will be closed. So, better check the weather before confirming your visit. Do not recommend pre-booking.
Nice experience with one of the best museums I've ever been to. Good educational and fun day out. Unfortunately you can't take food in the museum but they to have a food area. The tower was closed when I went
Great to see it open again so finally got to experience Glasgow from high up Check website before travelling to see if tower is open but if it's not theres loads for the younger ones to have fun with at the science centre itself... Cinema, Planetarium and more Staff were lovely friendly made to feel welcome
Good, enjoyed it, but not great. Conveniently located next to science centre, but because of that it only goes to the towers height from the river level. I've seen towers like this usually located on some elevation compared to city centre, which would be easily done with Glasgows elevation differences - the view could be way better at even half the current hight of the tower itself.
Finally managed to get up the tower today! Well worth a visit come on a calm day as the tower closes when wind is more than 25mph. The view is stunning and you can see so much from 100odd meters off the ground. I've been up the Berlin Fernsehenturm and you can see way more from Glasgow tower and the windows are cleanerVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Excellent- but really a day out for families with children. Still, we enjoyed but 2 hours was enough.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Wonderful way to view the city. We were able to go up with just our attendant, so it was nice and quiet. I think it would be great at dusk/evening.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
The view from the top of the tower itself is awesome, a little pricey for what it is as there is not much room up the top you could find yourself only spending ten minutes up there. It's worth doing once if you like seeing the skylines and the whole of Glasgow
Showed up a bit after they opened on what had been a gray and rainy day. We ended up being the first group up as they apparently can't operate the elevator when the wind is over a certain speed. The view was amazing and the guide was knowledgeable about the towers unique construction and the visible landmarks.
Perfect place for a family activity, it has imax show ,planeterium,, lot of the science activities, cafe and entrance to the tower. The tower was closed today because of the windy weather!! Nice experience,, the kids have funVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
