Partick Burgh Hall is a grand and historic “B” listed building, which was originally built in 1872 as the Council Chambers for the Burgh of Partick. Partick Burgh Hall offers a range of rooms that can cater for anything from a small scale meeting to a large scale event or concert.
Went with my mum to get her a vaccination. Another lovely old building the NHS are using to great effect. Well done them. It was nice to go into it again as I hadn't been inside it in years.
Came here for my covid shot. Great easy access, wheel chair accessible, and large spaced out seating inside. Everyone was super nice and helpful and I was in and out in under 30 minutes with my jab.
No parkings, beautiful buildings, now transformed as a vaccination center covid and flu
I arrived today for my second booster, client group were predominantly 70+. On arrival large open, well ventilated reception with distanced seats. However as soon as you are processed you are directed around the back where everyone sat in a narrow, windowless, low ceilinged corridor to wait. Everyone shuffling along from seat to seat. Every person sat on and touched every seat, no social distancing, no cleaning in progress. Staggeringly badly organised and I am fairly sure that a significant amount of people left infected. I did try to speak to several people. One of the nurses informed me that they had already complained but as it was being organised by an outside agency they had little say. I actually felt this was the most risky thing I have done in 2 years.
so much for time slot, turned up 30mins early and just as well the queue was massive, a good 20 minutes past my time I got my jags, nice friendly nurses and glad it's over for now.
I went for the covid jag . Absolutely no where to park and the few spaces that were not for permit holders were very expensive. The hall itself has o one way system in operation
Went for my covid 19 booster vaccine and winter flu jab.really efficient service by NHS staff.
Easy disabled parking. Staff were professional and friendly. Very efficient set up.
A great, quick and efficient service provided by the entire vaccination team.
