Delicious Ethiopian food. In the picture is their platter which is 25 pounds and was more than enough food for two hungry people. I definitely recommend having the platter, so you can try many of the dishes. Each and every one of them was very delicious. They have great vegetarian and vegan options.
Would give an 11/10. Excellent Ethiopian food. Very fun to eat and a collection of all sorts of flavors at a very affordable cost. Will be coming back with more friends in the future!
I love African food, however I never tried Ethiopian food before. I had always seen this place was frequented by locals and decided to give it a try. One of the ladies serving helped me to decide what to order so I went for the doro wot with injera flatbread made of rice with a tomato stew. Well, the doro wot was actually very good. I didn’t expect a stew but I enjoyed it. The injera turned me down though... One thing I disliked was the fact that the lady wanted to show me how they eat this meal, and actually had to spread the bread with her bare hand. I appreciate the gesture but I didn’t like the approaching manner. I don’t think the food is bad, however, if I ever decide to go again I may try something different probably rice.
Closed at times due to very sad news regarding Alex's missus who passed away and really took it out of poor Alex and has made a toll on his mental health and is going through a great depression atm but let's pray for him and his family at this horrible time and make we all look after him please!? And be nice to him and help him go through this bad few years! Please pray for him and his missus that Jehovah God remembers her and rewards her in her reserection hope! I look forward to going back one day! Hope to see Alex again soon! Vegetarian options: Vegan options, and requests! And speical diet requestments! Wheelchair accessibility: Would help you in if you asked nicely

We ate there by chance and we were happily surprised. We had vegetarian dishes with injera and it was all very fresh and tasty. The person serving was very helpful and helped us choose the dishes.Food: 5/5
I finally decided to try this place on Sunday having walked past it for years on the way to the supermarket and now I feel silly for not having done it sooner. I shared a big mixed platter with five or six different meat dishes on injera with a friend and we really enjoyed all the different flavours. The owner was very friendly and the place had a lovely local caff sort of feel, with lots of people who were obviously regulars but no less welcoming to us wandering in timidly off the street. I look forward to going back and trying more dishes.
I was there recently for lunch. The management claimed that they had a refurbishment and so all prices were much higher. The food was good but very basic in presentation. No sides or salads come with the mains and for the price I paid I could have gone to a Turkish place for a better deal. Condiments and cutlery were not provided or offered to customers. I had to ask for extra paper and was given only one piece. Hospitality wasn't great. Cafe was clean and seating feels comfortable. The music from the TV was extremely loud. Price was too much for a portion-main that was too big for one person/ lunch. Menu prices were too expensive for a average cafe.
The people were lovely and friendly but customer service was very confused. The restaurant was dark and cold. Portions of the stews in the combination platter were ridiculously tiny while the amount of injera given was excessive. The food was also very greasy. They use generous amounts of oil which I can't really understand why.
Delicious food and very friendly stuff. They made small tour for me explaining Ethiopian food. The taste is totally different what I tried before. Coffee is also very good. Really something new. Next time I will bring my friends with me.
