Story

Mosob is a family business established in September 2004. It is this, the family spirit, love and harmony that we bring to the plate in the real sense when serving each dish.

Mosob is a traditional handwoven serving table where people will gather to eat together. For us, it captures the communal spirit in which Eritreans share their meals.

I had a pleasant surprise discovering Mosob, an Eritrean restaurant in Oslo. I opted for the share platter, which offered a variety of different dishes. Everything on the menu is gluten-free, which is great and inclusive. The menu itself is very fancy, with plenty of options to choose from. While it is slightly pricey, it's well worth it. The service was great, and the restaurant is huge with plenty of seating. They also offer a decent selection of beers from Africa. Impressively, the food arrived in just 12 minutes and 50 seconds. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

Delicious freshly made food. Honest prices and excellent service. I had fish asa goulash with habesha salad to share served with red wine and traditional coffee at the end. It was great. Ethiopian Music and original artworks made the whole experience authentic.Food: 5/5
Great food, served promptly with a smile. A warm, buzzy atmosphere with friendly staff. Popular for a reason! The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. The menu has helpful hints on heat levels and well-signposted options that are suitable for vegans and vegetarians. They handled my food allergies with kindness, care and consideration, which meant a lot. Will recommend to friends and family! First time eating here, and I would love to go again. The staff were amazing, the service was fast and efficient, and they described every dish for us so we could decide on the level of spice in each one. The sharing platters were perfect for 3-4 people depending on how hungry you are, and we were hungry! Beers from Eritrea were delicious, and there were lots of new dishes I'd never tried before. All were perfectly balanced for flavour and complimented each other. A wonderful meal.
Food was absolutely delicious. There is a broad menu that suits all palates. We choice a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes which was suitable for both the little ones and the adults. Service was impeccable and we throughly enjoyed our visit.Food: 5/5

We visited as a group of three to Mosob to sample Traditional Eritrean food on a bank holiday Monday. The atmosphere and service was very relaxed and friendly. We had an excellent meal, which was of high quality and included great flavours. The staff were on hand to make sure we had everything we needed.
First time trying Eritrean food and I loved it! The flavors were amazing and the dishes were unique and delicious. The staff was super friendly and made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try something new and delicious!Food: 5/5
