A friend recommended this place and said "they often queue out of the door", a good sign of how popular the place is, and whilst they were actually queuing out of the door the queue went down really quickly and the food was great. The food was absolutely brilliant and the staff where equally as good. The place is spotless and I will certainly be back. Well done to everyone at George's. Keep up this fantastic work.
Excellent food, Good pricing portions are incredible! Definitely more than what you pay for 10/10
Never had any issues really besides how expensive it is for small portions, but the other day I was eating and felt something hard which I though was a bone can deal with that am not squirmish then I removed from mouth to see it was a staple! It’s still confusing me now as it was literally in the sausage meat. Could be the manufacturer of the sausages or whatever but still weird and dangerous.
Very good food, freshly prepared and very cheerfully staff I recommend it .
with working close by we use this chippy all the time the staff are brilliant and the food is always lovely

I've dropped my star rating because the service has gotten terrible they keep hirng young girls that either haven't got a clue about good service or just don't care. I was stood in there for ten minutes tonight, wasn't acknowledged, where I could've asked if they had what I wanted as they were close to closing time. Half an hour earlier than advertised might I add. A woman arrived the same time as I did and was served and gone all before I'd even been spoken to, only to find out they didn't have what I wanted from another customer waiting in there! It's a shame it's the only chippy in blacon. Someone needs to open another and stop this one winning the monopoly.
