worst airport ever. unfavourable experiences everywhere.nfirst the trolley metal chain is too short to join the trolley back together to retrieve back my €1. i struggled for so long and had to tilt both trolley in very awkward position just to get back my €1. this even attracted the attention of many people which made me felt even more uncomfortable and embarrassed.nnext, according to the staff there are no water cooler in this airport. which airport does not have water cooler?!!! this is the first one i encountered. hope i dont ever have transits or flights to this airport ever again. will avoid landing at this airport as much as possible.nthirdly, no information counter to seek help 24/7.nfourth, the weighing machine requires money. i understand if public weighing machine needs money, but even the AIRPORT’S???? it is not like this everywhere in europe’s airport. lol anyways we can just wait till we weigh it when we check in…nthanks for the horrible hospitality gatwick airport.
Gatwick Airport is well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate, making travel less stressful. There’s a great variety of shops, cafés, and restaurants to enjoy while waiting for your flight, and plenty of comfortable seating areas. Security is usually efficient, and staff are professional and helpful. Signage is clear, so finding your gate is straightforward. Whether departing or arriving, the experience feels smooth and convenient. A reliable and traveler-friendly airport – five stars!
Third world airport. Lifts in orange car park not working for uber pick up so you are expected to walk up stairs with heavy suitcases after a flight
This one is 3D: Dusty, dirty and dated. Barely any seats. The moving staircase only goes upwards on platform 7. Just wait in the queue to take the lift if you have luggage.nExtra star for the young guy at the ticket gates who was nice to explain some things about my train tickets.
Nice airport, easy to find our way around, lots of shops and eating places, expensive like you would expect.nThere are lots of water fountains to fill up bottles, if they don't seem to work, try pressing the button in the middle of the bottle picture behind where the bottle goes.nOnce you get through security south Terminal there's no smoking/vaping area.nIt's a big airport, so lots of walking, a bit chilly - but then so is England.
