Gannet & Guga is a gourmet sandwich bar in the heart of Edinburgh. Specialising in tasty pulled meats, freshly prepared soups and salads, and home made Vietnamese summer rolls. Gannet & Guga has an ethical policy selling only free range and outdoor bred meat, buying fair trade / locally sources food / materials, and comprehensive recycling of waste including compostable packaging.

We stumbled upon this absolute gem of a spot while wandering around Edinburgh. An amazing guy gave great service, and even whipped up fresh vegan cheese for one of the sandwiches in just minutes. The sandwiches themselves were up there with some of the best. Will definitely be revisiting on our next trip to Edinburgh!

Hidden gem that offers exciting and delicious sandwiches amongst other things and lovely staff! Their most recent vegan offering even impressed the cat! Great place to pick up a picnic for Princes St Gardens or for a train trip

This place and its owners are so charming, it feels a lot like being invited into someone's home for lunch. The soup and sandwich i had were also excellent. The location renders it kind of easy to miss, so keep your eyes out for it.
Incredible food! The staff here are lovely and so friendly. Remember when this place opened and it's wonderful to see them still going!
